I have a jar of Merchant Gourmet hot sweet chilli peppers in brine but I can't find them on syns online. I did them on calculator and was shocked to find them 3 syns. The only reason I can think of is there is sugar in the brine.
I used less than 28g for my frittas AND I thoroughly washed them so I have decided they are free :D and as they were chopped so finely and distributed throughout 3/4 of a bag of couscous they aren't worth counting anyway. Just waiting for the mixture to cool then will add the egg and form the frittas.
Can't wait to eat them :D
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Spicy Buffalo chicken:-

    EE + original 2.5syns, green 8syns
    • 2tbs runny honey
    • 3tbs soy sauce
    • 2 cloves garlic -crushed
    • 1tsp paprika
    • 1 red chilli -de-seeded and chopped I left this out
    • 1tsp tabasco or hot pepper sauce + increased this to 1tbs
    • 1tbs white wine vinegar
    • 2tbs tomato ketchup
    1. mix all together -tadaaaa :p
    2. place 16 skinless chicken wings in and marinade and place in a cool place for 30 mins
    3. place on a baking sheet and brush with leftover marinade and bake for approx 25 mins 200c/gas6
I used chicken breast cut into strips and it is lovely -Im going to use the same marinade on pork fillet too :D
Sorry if I'm being a bit dim but is that 2.5 syns for the whole marinade or is it per chicken wing? :o

Potato salad (potatoes with spices and fat free yoghurt)
King prawns and a dip (yoghurt and cucumber dip, or a spicy tomato dip)
    Curried eggs
fresh pineapple and melon cut into chunks
Ryvita minis, each with a dollop of "quark smoked salmon pate" on top

(this is the type of thing I would take in; working fulltime I don't have a lot of time to prepare fancy stuff - at least, that's my excuse :D)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Sorry Laura -its 2.5 per serving (and 4 servings to the recipe)-so it would be 4 wings -you are only paying for the marinade so you can throw what meat you like in and as long as you have 1/4 it will be the same :D
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5
