There was an episode where Malcolm's mum was losing weight and her hubby was putting extra fat in her food because he didn't want her to lose too much weight because he liked her the way she was! He was making her protein shakes and adding fat and things!
Is he actively doing SW or just eating the things you are cooking?
i shall have to catch Malcolm in the Middle!!
no he just eats whatever i cook for him,he's a nurse and when he comes home he's pretty exhausted and just eats what i present without question,on his days off i 'treat' him with a fry up!0 -

Hello all
back to it today. I am due weigh in tonight and I have debated wether to go or not because quite frankly I have been a pig. I dont want to put on all I have lost and start the cycle again of weight gain weight loss so am trying to pluck the courage up to go. I went last week and lost 1 and 1/2 pound but i know i will have regained that plus a lot more following weekend hols and blow out since. I seem to be able to put on 7 lb in one week but only lose slowly. never mind
I hope you dont mind Mrs mcawber but i am using you for inspiration. i have copied some of your daily plans and am going to try and copy them daily. i wish i had your willpower. i will try to post daily to keep motivated and this weekend i will not drink alcohol like a man on a bender! wish me luck_starting again! 06/01/15___________________________________0 -
Hey All,
I stayed the same this week - which i am happy with after my pig out on pizza hut for my birthday!
Surprisingly i got Slimmer of the Month aswell!
I am determined to loose at least 2lbs this week to reach my 4st award!
Only 2 weigh ins till my wedding dress fitting! The target on my sig i don't think i can do - but i can definately aim for it!
RE Muller Lights - they have 2 new flavours out atm - New York Cheesecake and Strawberry Cheesecake - i would think they are the same syn value as the Lemon Cheesecake i.e. 1 syn - They are very nice - but a lil sweet!
I am eating more fruit this week to hopefully reach my mini target!
Went to Doctors yesterday and got another set of vouchers! V MSE!!!
Will be making mushy pea curry tonight - but staying away from rice atm as it bloats me really bad!
Also trying to up my exercise to tone ready for my dress fitting!0 -
Afternoon all
It is soooooooo warm here "Im melting" :rotfl:
Rainbowfizz... yep online -you get the "syns on line" and the calculator...
I was really dubious of joining online -I thought it might be a waste of money so I went for 3 months so i could see how I got on and I love it... who would have thought filling details in on line could keep me in line. I think you can get a 7 day trial menu free (well I think someone on here mentioned it -unless Im losing the plot:o)
YellowBird -of course you can swipe my meal plans if you think it will help. Have you tried the "minimins" websit? there is a section just for SW and I have become addicted , there are loads of teams and challenges, recipes and lots of chat too
I know its the last thing any of us want to do (going back when we think/know we have gained) -but if you can it will probably do you good, rather than thinking "well I have another week to make up for it" -its so difficult to get back on track and so easy to just drift (guess who has been to more WW classes than she cares to remember :rotfl:). Whatever the damage you think you have done..its done n dusted now so just ignore it and get back to class and start afresh ..you know you want to
Thats a great loss so far nessie :T
well I have made the burgers and they are in the fridge and I have made some coleslaw too -mmmm sooooooo looking forward to my dinne * looks at clock to see how long I have to wait* :rotfl:
have a great evening everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
I might get into trouble for asking this but does anyone have any extra special tips or tricks. So something you find always helps you get a loss be it a certain amount of water or eating or not eating a certain thing, or green tea, or, shock horror, any supplements to speed up your metabolism or keep things moving (!)
I am just interested!God is good, all the time

sian - to be honest I find that no matter what I eat the thing that makes the biggest difference to my weight, my attitude, my eating habits and my feelings about myself is exercise.
I know that I'm going to feel like a blob if I dont go to the gym for a whole week. and for some reason it makes me eat worse too.
I have gone months before without doing any form of exercise and it made me miserable.
But even after one or two sessions, be it walking, gym, aerobics class, whatever, I automatically feel better and walk with more confidence.
I dont know the science behind it - it's probably 99% psychological as even when I dont even lose any weight I just feel better in myself. And I look more toned and feel more healthy. :j Plus it definately has a good effect on your metabolism.
My other tips are - eat fibre in the morning not at night and it'll stop you feeling sluggish, green tea makes you feel like a saint but I think peppermint is better coz it aids digestion, and lots and lots of water will help you feel full and refreshed but will make you need to wee a lot!!!:rotfl:Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
