    Morning everyone..

Hot here too... don't know about anyone else but when it's hot I can't be bothered to eat... well prepare food anyway.

    Today (EE)
    B - 2 little toast (B), butter (2) marmite (F)
L - Spaghetti Carbonara (F) (if I can be bothered) and salad (F)
    D - Piri Piri Chicken (F) Salad (F) maybe potato salad (1)

    Snx - Lemon meringue (2 or 3)

I've managed to find out what Quark is here and bought some yesterday so I am hoping it will add a new lease to my meals. 1st adventure with it is the carbonara for lunch then the lemon meringue for snx.

    Good luck today peeps

    Hello all.

Today's EE meal plan looks like this:
Brek: 2 x small wholewheat toast and 21g low fat cheddar (heb and 1/2 hea)
    Cuppa with skim milk (0.5)
Run out of fruit so I will be popping to the market later on this morning to stock up on cherries, grapes, nectarines and bananas
Lunch: potato frittata type thing (just throwing it all into the pan as I go along!)
potatoes, onion, rocket, peppers, tomato, 2x eggs, rest of hea 21g low fat cheddar
    Dinner: Green Thai curry
chicken, lots of veg, 1/2 tbsp Barts green thai paste (0.5), chicken stock, 1/2 sachet creamed coconut (9.5), boiled rice
    snack - fruit, cherry mullerlight
    total syns = 10.5

Going for a picnic tomorrow, not really sure what to take. usually would just be crisps and stuff to share.

Was thinking of getting Tesco cool tortilla chips (6 syns for 1/4 of the bag) and chunky tomato salsa (0.5 per tbsp) and making a syn-free pasta salad myself.

Does anyone know the lowest syn crisps???

thanks and hope everyone has a lovely day

    B.

If you have an ALDI near you, they do cheese curls (like quavers, but less greasy) which are 4 syns a 14g bag.

Well, I have been doing really well, but last night I stayed up late and had an attack of the munchies. I used up my syns but then I managed to snack mostly on free foods, so I'm hoping I haven't done too much damage.

Back on the wagon today though. I am going to a summer ball on Saturday, so I really really want to stay on track, and try and keep as many syns back for Saturday as possible.

AND I have just arranged to go and visit some friends in August. They haven't seen me for a while and I really want them to notice the difference.

I have been going for 6 weeks and have lost 6.5 lbs, so it is coming off slowly. I am trying for my half stone this week. I don't know if I'll make it with the ball coming up, but I'm going to give it my best shot!

How do you make your carbonara? :)

I got the recipe from MyDish.co.uk.

    http://www.mydish.co.uk/recipe/5560/Carbonara%20Sauce%20(Slimming%20World%20Recipe)

I added mushrooms to mine and cooked it with the stock, onions and garlic and used strips of ham instead of bacon (my freezer stock is precious to me as it's not sold here:mad:). I used dried mixed herbs too instead of fresh ones.

I was a bit dubious about the egg/quark mix but went with it anyway and it is really lovely as you cook it at the end so you're not having raw egg.

I was begining to lose the will to live with just tomato sauce for my pasta :)

Need some inspiration as to what to have for dinner tonight. I am on EE, have got HEA left but not HEB.
I could have anything as I will need to go shopping. I just end up having the same few things... chicken, salmon, stir-fry.
    Any ideas? :)
