unfortunately my hubby isn't a chubby chaser,so i'm on the diet!

i feel for you those with skinny hubby's don't they hurt you with their bones? <shudder>

Settled for a Muller rice. Turns out one pot of Muller Rice has TWICE the SW syns as a small chicken kebab!!!

Is that the extra easy value? I don't understand how that is possible, seems crazy, if you think that a curly wurly is 6.5 and that is all sugar. Madness I tell you, madness!

What on earth is in them? Surely if you had cooked some rice, stirred it into a muller light and added some sweetener it would have been free. Maybe SW aren't as in cahoots with muller as I thought. I can't understand the yogurts being free at all really, though they are pretty tasty.

I have to recommend this smoked salmon for breakfast thing.

2tbsp quark, a tbsp of smoked salmon trimmings (the tesco value pack for 87p has done me about 5 breakfasts), lemon juice, fresh black pepper. Mix together, spread on a couple of scan brans, enjoy! It really is tasty and very filling, nice with some cucumber too!

Sounds nice Sian. Wish I liked smoked salmon - might do the same recipe with bits of ham.

    Quark is free isn't it?
What about extra light philly (or own brand cream cheese)?

Also can anyone advise me about ham please?

We buy Tesco cooked or breaded ham slices (usually 2 packs for £4 or something) but I can't work out if they are free or if they are synned on EE.

Most packs of sliced ham have really low calorie values, and they rarely say low cal/low fat unless it's a 'healthy eating' range. Given that bacon is free i'd asssume ham is too but don't want to risk it. Does anyone know about generic ham slices?

thanks, sorry it turned into loads of questions!!

The differences between ham, gammon and bacon are subtle – where gammon is the name given to the hind leg of pig which is removed from the side of bacon after curing, ham is the hind leg which is cut from the pig and cured separately. Although the curing process was an important method of preserving meat it is now used mainly to give flavour. Unprocessed, the meat is sold as fresh ham; however the meat is commonly cured in one of three ways. The ancient method of dry or air curing involves salting the surface of the meat then storing it to allow the salt to permeate the skin. Parma ham and Prosciutto are examples of dry cured ham. Sweet-pickle or brine curing is another popular method of preserving ham. Immersed in sweet, seasoned brine, the result is a ham infused with a myriad of flavours, popularly including molasses, juniper berries and stout to name just a few. The ham may then be smoked. Mass produced ham is generally injected with brine. Ham can be purchased cooked, in which case it can be eaten cold. Par-cooked or fresh ham requires cooking before it can be eaten. It is excellent boiled, grilled and baked or cold in salads and sandwiches. Pork in general is an excellent source of B vitamins, especially vitamin B12, and proteins. It is also a useful source of zinc
yes chick ham is free too :D

,basically its a HEB on green days but free on red and ee
