Are all Free foods on EE the same on SE?? .

yes the basic idea is exactly the same, just more veggies and less protein/carbs (red/green)

My son (aged 9) is making my tea - pizza. I know, I know it's naughty but he's making it with wholmeal flour. I thought I would be able to count at least part of the flour as a healthy extra b in lieu of bread.
Does anyone know whether you can?
Doesn't matter really as I'm eating it anyway - just need to know whether I have to count 9 syns for flour - might as well have had white flour for only 1 syn more ;-(

There was a thread on minimins a while back where someone contacted SW about a Tesco wholemeal flour and got it approved as a HEB choice. So it is possible to make "free" pizza bases. I'll see if I can find the link to the thread.

Can anyone please help me find out how many syns in a meal for one.. Asda GFY sweet chilli battered chicken with rice.

    (Per 100g)
    Cal - 132kcal
    Protien - 6.0g
    Fat - 2.9g
    Carbs - 20.1g
    P/size - 380g

    Many thanks,

I just ran this through the syns calculator (using rice and chicken as the free food allowance) and got:

8 Syns per package/portion on Extra Easy
8 Syns per package/portion on Green
17½ Syns per package/portion on Original

I had WI tonight and am pleased to have lost another 1.5lbs:j I also reached my 10% and am only 1.5lbs away from my 1 1/2 stone award:D I feel very relaxed about the plan right now and have been taking the attitude of well I'll get there eventually so I'm not going to stress over every little thing along the way. I aim to be good and on plan 90% of the time and enjoy the freedom of the other 10%. May take me a bit longer to get to goal but getting there seems much more attainable to me this way. Feeling very positive about losing the weight atm, it feels like I'm in control of it for a change and realising that has really helped me get my motivation back. Onwards and downwards:p:rotfl:

Here is the link to the minimins thread about the bread mix that was approved as a HEB choice.

The opening post should link to the posters pizza recipe on her blog but I think the link is broken so here's the blog link.

Today is my weigh in day and I am so pleased to report a 3lb loss!

This is the biggest loss I've ever seen in a week and i am really pleased. I've only been doing SW for 4 days and already it's making sense to me - I'm eating much more fruit and veg and a lot less sugar and treats. I'm also not banning anything, so I don't feel like i'm losing out. And i've been trying new classes at the gym and going for little runs/jogs while the sun is out.

    Today's plan is:
Brekkie - Raisin wheats, skim milk, tea (half of HeB and HeA)
Snack - 1 Ryvita, 2 laughing cow light, cucumber (other half of HeB and HeA) and a banana
Lunch - Pasta, tuna, rocket, celery, cucumber, 1 tbsp light mayo (2.5)
snack - corn on the cob with a tsp Flora light (1.0)
Dinner - not sure as we're going out but if we end up in the kebab shop I'll get chicken and salad (no idea how to syn that if the chicken's got anything on it though) or I'll wait til I get home and have beans on toast.

    Have a lovely day everyone
    B.

Help! I bought some olive oil cooking spray assuming that it would be free like frylight but now I am not so sure. I cannot find it on the SW website at all.
    The details are:
    Aarhus Karlshamm UK
olive oil cooking spray containing 20% olive oil
    per 100 ml 208 Kcal
    22g fat
    0g protein, 0g carbohydrate

If anyone knows is this free as I don't know if it will be, as not sure how much a spray woul be, 1 ml, 5 ml etc

    TIA

Once i refilled a frylight spray with 1/3rd extra light olive oil and 2/3rds water - would that have been syn free?
A light spritz (1 or 2 squirts) used to coat the pan fine.
