no need to feel foolish :) we've all done it and will probably do it again. I sometimes 'forget' about the apple juice I've had.

Just to say that Asda's own sparkling sugar free bitter cranberry water is free on all days, and on offer at 3 for £1. I like it in pint glass with loads of ice, diluted with cheapo sparkling water. It is really refreshing.

I am doing success express this week to try and get a boost - like EE but you have 2/3 superfree veg on your plate, syns are counted at whatever is the highest out of all the plans for that item, and you can still have 2 HEA and 2HEB. It is supposed to boost weight loss, but to be honest I'm finding it easier than EE (because I can still have my two HEBs)

BTW does anyone know how many syns stewed goosberries are?

    tnx

just turn up hun, there was talk of a voucher that gives discount, anyone know if thats still on? it was in Bella magazine...

don't stress it hun,eat or don't eat,the world is stil turning and you'll tie yourself in knots worrying about what you may have eaten, look at it this way,and i'm speaking from experience,if your eating habits alter slightly, say you only eat 2 out of the 3 packets of Almond Slices, then you will lose weight, when it starts to level off and you don't lose any more, thats when you need to start worrying,my theory anyways, but i'm an overweight trout that loves Almond Slices ;)

you will grasp it hun,i promise you,go to the meeting and see if it clears things up for you,i personally need ALL the cheer leading that i can get,cos those slices call my name all the time!

but love yourself, cos if you don't when you're a skinny bean you will still worry about your sagging knees or your droopy eyelids, you hear me?
and great name,my daughter is Elizabeth, shortened to Betty! :D

stewed gooseberries without sugar (fake sugar allowed, I assume) 113 g = 1 syn on all programmes. or, 340g of stewed gooseberries as a healthy extra B! I bet you can hardly eat 340g (well that's the problem I have trying to use stewed rhubarb anyway :p )

If SW has done nothing else it has reintroduced me to things like rhubarb and gooseberries that I haven't eaten since my mum prepared them (and I draw my OAPension so that's some time ago!)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

thanks susan6780 for your kind words. I won't beat myself up too badly, I know it's going to take a while for me to get my head round it all. But i'm determined to crack it!

This weekend I'm going to study my books (the ones from 2005!) and use the advice given here to plan some meals that I can know the syn value of without worrying, and also try to turn my old recipes into SW recipes. I love a project!!!

(PS - my name is not really betty I just like the name loads, and I love betty boop coz she's gorgeous!)
