    Hey guys

Can anyone tell me the syns in a tub of Tesco Spicy Couscous? It used to be really low syn, but I've just read the label and it says there's 1.6g of fat in a tablespoon so I'm wondering if they've changed the recipe. I hope not! It's gorgeous!

Thanks, but my tub doesn't say healthy living on it? Maybe that's where I've gotten mistaken.

As for the HEB, the ryvita is there to make up the fibre content so you can't just have a bit more cereal and call it a HEB. Any cereal you had over the listed 28g would need to synned I'm afraid

There IS a reason why you can't just have double the cereal BettyB (and I guess it's to do with weight loss or lack of it, but there's sugar in cereal isnt there, plus not as much fibre as you get in ryvita or scan bran). You can have 42g of All Bran if you like All Bran (I do, but 48g is a LOT to eat especially if you add fruit and yoghurt).

Nairns traditional oatcakes are 2 syns each on all programmes. I can't see mention of them in the list of HEBs but it's a long list in, as far as I can tell, no particular order.

Ok, that makes sense. Guess I will have to find some bran crackers or ryvita that i like!

Thanks for the advice Circes and blackberry-rum

Shame about peas not being free - one of my favourite diet recipes has always been pea and onion soup.

Starting the day with a Muller light cherry yogurt (free, if i'm not mistaken) a banana and a cup of tea with 1/2 HeA milk (I've measured 125ml into a jug to use throughout the day as I usually have 2 - 3 cups).
Baked beans on wholewheat toast (heb) witha poached egg for lunch and then an orange
As a snack I have celery and cucumber with tzatsiki (0.5 syns per tbsp, probably have about 1.5 syns worth)
For dinner I'll have pasta with courgette, red onion, red pepper and 1 tsp extra v olive oil (1 tbsp=6 syns so 1 tsp is about 2 syns) with a bit of low fat cheddar for the other half of HeA.
and then for 'dessert' I'll probably have a highlights hot choc (2syns)
Total of 5.5 syns, which allows me room if I slip up a bit or if I fancy some sweetcorn in my pasta dish.

this is my first SW day plan so please feel free to advise me if i've gone wrong or if you have any suggestions :) Thanks so much.

Well done to all who have lost weight this week, and have a lovely day in the sunshine everyone!

Hello all, hope you can help.

I can't find vk blue on the online syns thing, any ideas?

Also swizzels matlow refreshers (only a small one, 2 inch long)? I have been onto swizzels manufacturer bit but it doesn't recognise refresher and brings no results back!

Space raiders too, no idea of the brand but all help appreciated.
    Cheers

hi again just one questions today - is total 0% greek yoghurt free? the books says very low fat is free, but 0% is totally fat free so presumably it is a free food? If not, does it count as a HeA or is it synned?? Thaks :) B.

Not very happy today as I only lost ½ lb  suppose it’s better than gaining or staying the same though but I was hoping that I would’ve lost a bit more this week :o

Aaaah well – makes me want to try harder next week which is the most important thing as before I probably would’ve got fed up and thought it wasn’t worth it and given up. No giving up now – it has just made me even more determined :)

EE Day today – menu looks like this:

Breakfast:1 bowl puffed wheat with semi skimmed milk (HEA) and 1 egg scrambled with turkey rashers.
Lunch: Wholemeal sandwich with chicken and loads of salad, piece of fruit (probably a banana)
Dinner: Chicken with honey & mustard (3syns for 1 tablespoon honey and 1 level teaspoon wholegrain mustard) baked in oven, new boiled potatoes and a mixture of broccoli, baby corn and Mange Tout.

Snacks: Fresh Cherries, Orange, Fresh Plums, Cucumber Slices.

My goal for the coming week is to make sure I have Speed and Super Speed Foods at every meal and to try and do some kind of exercise at least twice.
