I didnt lose and am not sure why as I was lighter on my scales yesterday and have been pretty good... :(

I did win the raffle though, great prize, a big tub of herbs planted out, coriander, chives, parsley, mint and basil. Isnt that a lovely idea? I was well chuffed

Morning all! WI last night and I lost 1lb. Not sure how as I've been totally rubbish at sticking to the plan for the last couple of weeks!

I'm going away for the weekend with a load of skinny people so if I can stay the same this week I'll be happy!

    Here's my plan for today:

Brekkie - weetabix crunchy bran (A&B). Banana
Lunch - salad with ham & coleslaw (2), small slice of HM bread (6ish?!)
Tea - lemon sole, veggies, oven chips (2)

I've got a load of baking to do tonight to take away with us. I have my choc & mint hifi bars which I'll be attempting to convince myself are better than choc brownies, scones and sausage rolls!!

Morning everyone.. today is going to be a good day for all of us I can just feel it :j

WI this morning for me and I have lost 3lb :T so I am really pleased as it means I have lost the 2lb I put on last week and and extra lb to bring me back on trackish.

My mini goal is to be 13st by my birthday on 22 Jul which is 4 wks away so I need to shift 5lb by then which should be doable.

    Today's food.. (EE)
    B - coffee
L - Veggie chow mein made at home so 0.5 syns
D - Veggie cottage pie, steamed veggies and gravy. (6 in total as I will used real butter for the tatas and then there is the syns for the gravy)

It has been raining heavily non stop here in Warsaw since last night so I fancy some warm winter food for dinner, hence the pie.

    Good luck everyone xx

I am really surprised that some people still buy/use/cook oven chips and syn them - surely it would be best to do SW chips and save the syns for other nice things?

It is the way i think anyway!

I was good yesterday - only 1 syn (2 mikados!) - but felt really bad because i didn't do a proper dinner last night - i settled for some savoury rice with beans! - But i did eat a whole punnet of strawberries and raspberries yesterday! Whoops! Need to cut down a bit!

Thanks for the Scan bran info (getting them from holland & barratt) Problem is that i don't have the time to go into town to get them - i am going down my local town on saturday for contact lens appointment but they don't have a h&b!

I will make do until next week - i will just keep off the eggs lol

Trying to be good this week - our group is doing the 4lb challenge! (loose 4lbs this week!) I am trying my best but don't think i will do it (it was the pizza hut on monday!) - i just want 2lbs and i will be happy.

    Hello everyone.
I have just been on the slimming world website looking at the new Extra Easy plan (I got the the free 7 day plan to try) but I don't really undertsand it. I thought you guys might be the best people to ask!
I have an old SW book that has red and green days that I got years ago from a friend, but it seemed a bit complicated. So I'm interested in trying the easier option but I don't understand how it differs from the old system? Is it similar to either of the red/green days or just a combination?
Sorry if I'm not making sense, I guess all I'm really asking is how is it different and what are the rules?
    thanks
    B.

PS - also, i was trying to work out cereal - but the HEB option says 28g kellogs raisin wheats + 1 ryvita. But I didnt' have the ryvita and had more than 28g of cereal so does the extra cereal count as syns or does the fact that i didnt have the ryvita make all the cereal ok to be my HEB?? Sorry! Thanks!!!

Anything that is free on green + Anything that is free on red
    = extra easy

    Then:
1 healthy extra from the A section
1 Health extra from the B Section.

    Plus 5-15 syns a day

Right. Disappointed about yesterday but I think I know why and am going to blame my womanly hormones. I am pretty certain I should have lost and so hopefully it will show next week. I think the problem is that you lose a little bit of momentum and are tempted to cheat, I shall resist!

Well done to everyone who has lost :)

    Hello everyone

How are we doing this week?

I’ve been so blooming busy I haven’t been able to check in as much :nope: Have tried to stick to the plan although went out for a meal on Sunday with OH, his cousin and her BF and had chips with my steak which is a bit naughty. Hoping that being extra good the rest of the week has paid off though!

EE day today – menu looks like this:

Breakfast: Fat Free natural yoghurt with blueberries and raspberries
Lunch: Wholemeal bread sandwich with ham and 1 slice of smoked cheese (taken out of HEA) with loads of salad and cucumber – banana
Dinner: Chicken Chargrill (4 syns) with boiled baby potatoes and a mixture of broccoli, courgette, carrot and mangetout

Snacks: Fresh Cherries, Orange, Plums, Cherry Tomatoes, Sliced Cucumber

Weigh in tomorrow – no idea how I’ve done. Fingers crossed for a nice result :D

thanks KarenGentles. I'm still trying to get my head around it all but that makes it look easier than I'm making it!
Going to give it a go - already worked out today's plan and syns so I can't do it wrong!
So I'll probably be back soon with more confusion!! hope that's ok. :)
    B.

PS - is there anyone here who doesn't have the proper books etc knows how to work out syn values online or by some method??
