Hello everyone!
Ark at all you bookwormsI have to say tho that once i am engrossed in a book i have to be reminded to eat.. now that can't be a bad thing!
Today is EE
B - 2x weetabix (heb) with chopped banana, chopped fresh apricots and milk (hea)
L - Courgette and Mushroom omelette/fritata thingy with (tasters of) HM pork burger and HM Sweet Chilli Turkey burger (i added chilli flakes to this recipe so i had to taste it!!) (0.5syns)
Snacks - i have been feeling v premenstrual therefore am craving lots of sweet things. To curb the craving had a nice mug of White Choc options for 2.5 syns (v v v sweet indeed!) also had 6 mikado sticks (2 of each flavour) for 3 syns
D - Going to my friend's evening wedding reception so there's potential for naughty food to creep in! (for the 3rd weekend running)
To minimise the damage i done a half hour session of Tae Bo and i will be setting myself a flexi syn limit
Tomorrow is of course England v Germany so i have prepped my food feast!
I plan to have a red day and have 2 Pork burgers in a w/m roll (heb) with salad, gherkins, cheese (hea) followed by sticky sweet chilli chicken wings (3 syns for a huge batch!) for lunch/dinner.
I bought bottles of No Added Sugar Lager Shandy from Asda (FREE on SW!) I have banana, mango and melon in my fridge to make fruit kebabs and i have Nutella infused quark in my fridge to have as a sweet dip for my fruit! All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Raisin Wheats aren't a healthy extra (someone please correct me if I'm wrong- I looked through all the cereals on the website but they aren't there...) and you can't have half and ounce of cereal and half of something else and add it up to a 'B' choice.
To be extra mean... hummous isn't a healthy extra on EE anyway
It's on a green day
hummous will be about 2.5 syns for 14g unless it was reduced fat then it'll be about 1.5 syns.
And about 2.5 for the cereal too... sorry
Still, only just over 15syns and you get to have something else as a B choice too...
Don't be down-hearted though.... You are getting the hang of it and it's hard when you're working from the old book too...
Why not buy the SW magazine today and have a read of that for info and recipes? And it'll have another 7 day menu in it too....0 -
Oh and don't worry about splitting you milk HEA up...as long as it's 250ml in total all day that's fine... most people do that. A bit in cereal, a bit in tea etc0

We went to the golf course this morning so I walked around 9 holes (we caught up with a competition -so stopped at that point) -then it was back via the supermarket (fruit n veg top up:D) and then when we got home I found myself saying to hubby "come on lets walk to the naafi" -I have him VERY worried :rotfl:so I had clocked up over 11,000 steps by 10:30am :j -not sure I will add too many more to it today mind
my meal plan for today is:-- 250ml semi skimmed (A)

I'm afraid I'm here with a spanner to throw in the works

Kellogg's Raisin Wheats are a healthy extra -you are allowed 28g but to make it a heb you have to have 1 Ryvita Multigrain with itHmmm.. how do you make nutella infused quark and what's the syns like on this? Do tell...
Hehe. I'm not actually using "nutella" I'm using the Asda version. Its 4 syns per tablespoon.
I mix 1 tbsp to 1/2 pot of quark so the 1/2 pot of mixture in my fridge will be 4 syns for the lot!!
Its personal taste but i have to add sweetener to the quark first to get rid of the sour edgeAll hail to the sale!!!!!!

I looked all over for it but couldn't see it... still having 14g cereal and 14g of hummous does not a HEB make, BettyB, Sorry

Hi all
Not good today - weigh in and have put on a lb!!!
I am really struggling to lose weight. I am 28, 5'3" and weigh 10st 7lb. I want to get to around 9st. I am following the slimming world eating plan and go to the gym 5 times a week. At the gym I do 30mins cardio on the treadmill (jogging for 23 mins the rest a fast walk) following by about 40 mins of free weights and ab work. However, I am not losing weight indeed this week I put on a lb. I really need some help as despite all my hard work at the gym it doesn't seem to be working.
I have been super good all week re. SW
Anyone got any ideas??
