In fact thinking about it, why not syn 10g of butter, it's hardly anything and would make your new potatoes yummy.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Hi Ladies, can I creep in if I sit quietly at the back?
I have done slimming world on and off for years and after feeling fed up this last week I have decided to get back on the wagon and follow the plan. It's the only real one that works for me (when I stick to it that is).
I can't get to a class due to work and kid committments so I have been contemplating joining online, does anyone else do this, and how does it work for you?
Anyhoo I got weighed in this morning and I am officially on board and feeling positive about it, here's hoping it lasts!

Hi kandipandi:wave: I'm pretty sure MrsMcawber (who is doing fantastically well) follows the online plan. She usually posts every so hopefully she will she this and give you some feedback. Good luck x

I literally only use it on my new potatoes to make them feel a bit naughty :D

Not really relevant to your question but I really reccomend these:

Marks & Spencer New Potatoes with Butter, Parsley, Chives & Mint, chilled 180g pack
½ Syn on Extra Easy Original 7 Syns Green ½ Syn

How they are only 1/2 a syn per pack I have no idea but they are so tasty and yummy and on offer in M&S at the moment for 99p:D

I am trying my best to keep my syns each day for a real 'treat' in the evening. I feel a bit hard done by if I use them before the end of the day.

I find if I feel a bit of a craving then the options hot chocolates are pretty good for 2 syns and as they verge on sickly I don't want a whole lot else afterwards. I have decided to go for a 3 point approach to my weight loss, more Fibre, more Exercise, more Water. I need to work on the exercise thing but my calves are playing up at the moment, they really hurt when I haven't walked very far. I need some kind of solution!

    Hi Guys,
Well i've had a dismal week this past week! Weigh in is tomorrow but due to pmt extreme i was a bit excessive in the chocolate consumption and crisps! So i fully expect a gain 2m. I'm cross with myself really but i know that this week i can start afresh and not give in to temptation. I'm doing the race for life this weekend so am hoping that will help on the exercise front although have not prepared for it at all so am a bit worried about it.
So far today i've had bacon eggs and herbal tea for brekkie and lunch i haven't been too hungry so had 2 plums and an apple. i have some other items in my desk drawer for later. Dinner will be a jacket potato and beans i expect.
I feel a bit disheartened and am dreading the weigh in tomorrow so am just hoping it isn't a massive gain!!
    Tink x

don't be down hearted Tink,my friend and her husband start the week off on Monday, and they say its the start of a new week, they are battling with smoking, but i guess its pretty much the same?
tomorrow is Tuesday,a great day to start the plan, give it a go,but don't feel guilty or beat yourself up,what it is is what it is,and if you want to eat then do so,and as soon as you feel up to getting back to it then do so,its only food, take hugs and comfort in the fact that i too can't do more than 3 weeks without falling off the wagon! :rotfl:so we can be crap together, tomorrow is my WI so i will start again then,so take my hand and lets munch through biscuits together :j
