Going to Bella Itallia next week and am dreading it as first meal out since joining.
Any suggestions please????0 -
I think it's Bella Italia I call into in Chester sometimes and I always have their prawn and tomato sauce dish, I always count it as free whether it is or not, because I don't get out much! It's gorgeous (as long as you like prawns really, there are some in the sauce - and the sauce isn't overdone it's more genuine Italian - and some on a kebab stick):jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Sounds nice but not keen on prawns really.
What about spag bol do you think this would be high in syns0 -
that would depend on the beef wouldn't it (personally I never eat spaghetti bolognaise :so I'm no expert ) its hardly going to be extra lean mince and they probably add oil to the sauce too. The specials board last time I was there had a chicken breast dish on.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

hello everyone!
Am crawling back today now that my junk food/alcohol hangover has gone away! Weigh in Tuesday and i know a gain is on the cards!
Well done KarenGentles! 4lb is a fab loss - well done!
Today's food (red or EE day - depending)
B - 28g fruit and fibre (1/2 heb) with milk (hea) followed by cuppa and w/g crackerbread (1/2 heb) with tsp of lemon curd (1)
Elevenses - leftover cooked bacon and mushrooms followed by syn free pancakes, ff onken yog, plum and apricot!
OH wants to go out today (where i really dont know) so depending on where we go i dont know what lunch will involve. I'm hoping some kind of meat and veggies
EDIT - we are going to the cinema - therefore am gonna stuff myself silly on free food before i leave so not to be tempted by popcorn, crisps, ice cream, pick n mix etc
D - got some really nice fat chicken breasts in my fridge crying to be eaten. Am cooking dinner for 5 so am gonna look through my world of flavours book and see if there's anything in there i can use. I'm fancying a mediterranean chicken dish of some descriptionOur onions and garlics from our allotment are hanging in the kitchen as we speak and they are gorgeous and full of flavour! It would be a shame not to use them!
EDIT - used up the rest of my quark by adding some vanilla onken yog (free! yay!) with a tsp of lemon curd (1) and i put some sponge fingers (2) at the bottom of a ramekin and plopped the quark/yog/curd mix on top. A lovely scrummy dessert for 3 syns! Woo!
Syns - 3 (tasters) sponge fingers (3) = 4 in total so far today! Will be 7 with the dessert which allows me 8 for the rest of the dayAll hail to the sale!!!!!!

Hello :hello:
I normally post over on the SW thread on the 'wedding' board as I am trying to loose weight to fit into a frockSometimes it's a bit quiet over there though and I end up talking to myself :rotfl:So I thought I might pop over here for a chat now and again
Here is my post from earlier:
My full diary so far is:
Breakfast: chocolate12.5syns,tea with milk 0.5syns, Activia fat free Free
Snack: Cherries Free
Lunch: Lettuce Free, Carrot Free, Red Cabbage Free, Chicken with cajun seasoning Free 3 x babybel light HEA
I have a banana and an apple still to eat.. but tonight I will be eating rubbish (party food) and drinking, which I knew so little disappointed in myself for caving in and having chocolate this morning
Welcome to the thread, it's very chatty and supportive so I hope you find it useful. Hope you had a good night out - just leave it behind and get back on track now - if you eat healthily you'll soon make up for a few extra syns.0 -

They do have pastas and salads as well and, as I recall, the pastas were quite tasty
if we had eaten in at pizza hut thats what i would have had.
We ended up having takeaway pizza from the local kebab place. I stuck to my plan and had 3 slicesbut i did have wedges, doughballs and chicken wings too... oops. Fell into the weatherspoon trap the next day as well - didn't enjoy it either. At least i have learned my lesson! Back on track today tho!
Am feeling v v hungry today (dont know why!) so had some leftover cooked bacon and mushrooms AND syn free pancakes and yogurt for elevenses. At least i feel a bit full now! (better update my food diary) Me and OH are off to the cinema later (god help me) I think i might kill him if he buys sweets to scoff by himself! Grr! lol.All hail to the sale!!!!!!

12" is incredible, MrsM! You should be so proud of yourself.
I'm doing a family BBQ today, but as I don't eat meat that makes it a bit more SW friendly. I thought I'd list what I'm doing in case it is useful to someone else doing a BBQ-
-Salad with low fat dressing
-Cous-cous salad made with veg stock, with chickpeas, olives, tomatoes and feta cubes
-Pasta salad with red pesto
-Salmon, mushroom and new potato skewers, to be BBQ'd
-Tuna, Cherry Tomato and Pepper skewer, to be BBQ'd
-Quorn Sausages
-Small WM Rolls
-Dry Fried Onions
So none of it is very high synned, and I can stick to the free stuff :j.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Not having a good weekend healthwise so not been online since Friday.
WI yesterday and lost 1lb [finally] then spoilt it all by having chinese for tea. Oh well!
Food was EE
B - weetabix [b + 3.5] milk [a] coffee
L/T - chinese, not sure how to syn it but in my food diary I have listed all the free foods and tried to syn the rest. I had; main part was mixed veg chow mein [food directory only lists chicken so would mine be different?], I also had 2 spoons of special fried rice, 3 small bits of cantonese sweet n sour chicken + the sauce and tomatoes that it was in. I know I should just forget it and leave it behind but I need to have a rough estimate to make myself feel betterso any ideas would be good.
Syns - estimated about 30 to be on the safe side, still within weekly syns though.
Food today looks like this
B - 2 weetabix milk [a] 2 coffees [buzzing from extra caffiene]
L - will be roast as its none too warm here. Chicken, mixed veg, new potatoes, gravy [2.5], hm yorkshire [12].
T- will fill this in if I have anything. [didn't eat all of my lunch as not feeling too good, have saved it and will probably warm it up for tea.
Snacks - if feel like it will be pineapple + muller
Syns - 14.5 [5.5 over weekly syns if yesterdays were correct but could possibly be within as think I over estimated].
Well done on the losses everyone, good luck for the week ahead :AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
