Thanks for the support ladies.
Just wondered if any of you had struggled with losing weight due to contraceptive pills?0 -
been on my shopping expedition today and found both quark and scan bran in waitrose but can't find ff fromage frais anywhere - bought 0% greek yog instead - I assume that works the same.
I think I've done EE today - I'm still finding it all very confusing ;-)
HEA = semi-skimmed milk - for tea.
HEB = wholemeal bread - yeeuuccchhh - I'm a granary girl. won't be trying that again - it was way too sweet si I didn't eat the other slice I'd done and had an alpen bar instead at teatime
Snack - banana, muller light
Brunch - bacon x3, quorn sausgae x2, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes and 1 slice of bread with low fat (HEB) spread 1.5 syns
Snack - banana, apple, nectarine, fruit salad, banana
Tea - Potato, Carrot and spinach curry with rice, alpen bar (HEB)
Sounds ok but then it all went a bit wrong when I saw welsh cakes in Waitrose - they never sell them up north and I just couldn't resist -promised myself that if I went to the gym I could have one before (so I didn't faint on the treadmill obviously) and one afterwards whilst my metabolism was still running high.
2@ 6 syns each - and worth every penny.
so all in all 13.5 syns which could be better but I have been traipsing round town looking for some shoes for a wedding and did an hour at they gym so I'm hoping that will be ok.
Doing my own little weigh in tomorrow morning as I've always weiged myself on Monday mornings so I take that as a more accurate reading than Wednesday teatime when the meeting is.
Fingers crossed.........0 -

No, I was slim on the pill for 25 years. When I came off (and stopped having s*x) that's when the weight went on. It must have been my only exercise:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Dawnteabag: I've heard somewhere (on here?) that the WW reduced wine is so little different in syns to "full fat" that you might as well have the real thing. But whether that's true or not I don't know.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

twasn't me - I've realised I can't be sensible with alcohol so have given up drinking it at home. just one little glass every now and then became just one little glass some nights to most nights to every night - to one large glass of wine every night. Very rarely had more than that but it's too much really so I figure best to remove all temptation0 -
Food today sort of EE but not sure really,
B - weetabix [b + 3.5 syns] milk [a] coffee
L - roast pork, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, spring onion, boiled egg, new potatoes, beans, tiny bit of crackling [2 syns], ex light salad cream [1 syn]
T - noodles, mixed veg, oxo [not sure this qualifies as EE]
Snacks - oaty bar [3.5 syns], muller
Syns - 10Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi, we have a taster week this week and I thought I would like to do this... but use frylight to cook with not the oil
Am I right in thinking the only thing that needs synning is the sugar? I think 1tbsp of sugar is 3 syns so if I made it as a 3 person portion that is 1 syn each which seems very good? I love the good food website, and having the reviews helps in working out what is worth tryingGod is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day
