Does anyone have any ideas for filling breakfasts that don't involve cooking. I work Ft and and am a single mum too so just have no time (or appetie) for sausages, eggs etc in the morning but I do NEED a big breakfast. I've been having a double portion of cereal for breakfast but that means I either have to stay off the extra easy (because it would need 2 HEBs) or use up some of my sins.

I have a portion of fruit with my cereal (summer fruits, melon or banana usually) but I have it with fat free yogurt instead of milk. It saves a HE, is syn free, and is much more filling than milk. If you have a sweet tooth you could have a Muller Light instead of natural yog.

    Hope this helps.

    Evening everyone

Well done on the losses folks :T...
So, my meal plan today has been :-
    • 250ml semi skimmed (A)
    • banana
    • 1/2 cereal bar (B)-half way round the course wink.gif
    • omelette made with:-
    • 2 eggs
    • onions
    • peppers
    • mushrooms
    • fresh tomatoes
    • ham
    • 21g low fat cheddar (1/2 A)
    • strawberries
    • apple
    • meatballs:-
    • minced steak
    • onions
    • spices
    • natural yogurt
    • Sauce:-
    • onions
    • garlic
    • peppers
    • tomatoes
    • passata
    • courgettes
    • mushrooms
    • carrot
    • chillis
    • served with:-
    • steamed cabbage
    • 71g peas (B)
    • 21g low fat cheddar on top (1/2 A)
    • melon
    • pineapple
I made the meatballs and sauce up as I went along and heck they were good -I did hubbies on pasta and I had mine on steamed cabbage and peas a) because Im too tight to spend points on pasta :rotfl:and B) because Im finding Im much less sluggish without bread/pasta ;).... Half the meatballs and sauce have gone in the freezer with the pot of coq au vin left over from yesterday (I see and easy week coming up :p)

I was out at 5:30 this morning (middle of the night ;)) and we were on the golf course for 6:30 -so thats 2hrs 50mins of walking for me today :j taking me to a total of 12hr50mins of exercise this week :D

Its weigh in for me in the morning and its my 1st one after a full week of red days... I feel great... even though * week has arrived early just to confuse things... but Im still expecting a loss (if the scales know what is good for them :p) ..... I need 2lb to get my 10% and if I can wangle 2.5lb I will get my 2st too :D ....
8 weeks in and I am loving SW .... I have never found a [STRIKE]diet[/STRIKE]eating plan -so blinkin interesting or dare I say it "easy" (watch that come back to bite me on the bum some day soon) :rotfl:
Im planning another week of red meals this week -so i will sit and do my meal plan for the week tomorrow morning -I find it much easier...
tomorrow is roast beef with home made yorky pud, steamed potatoes and vegetables mmmmm
right I will get off..... have a great night everyone :D

    Food today has been

    B - weetabix [bs], milk [a], coffee

L/T - noodles, 3 quorn burgers [1.5 syns], mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, muller.

Snacks - oaty bar [3.5 syns], 1 fizzy milk bottle [.5 syn], 25g crisps [6.5 syns]

    Syns - 12

I have 3 weetabix everyday as 2 aren't enough to fill me up. I either have them as both b's or 1 b and 3.5 syns so I can have a fibre plus for the other b. I can't be arsed to weigh stuff especially 1st thing in the morning when I'm running round like a blue arsed fly so weetabix does it for me :rotfl:
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    • 28g porridge oats(B)
    • 1 banana sliced
    • 50g mixed berries
    • melon

Hope everyone has a great day -Im away to get brekkie and then plan menu for the week ....

I made this last night. Marinated chicken in milk with chopped garlic. Mixed some ground rice crispies, flour, paprika, chilli powder, salt & pepper, coated chicken in it & oven baked for around 20 mins. I reckon there was only around 2 syns per large breast, and that's probably an over estimate. Was stunned to see it smelt & looked like the real thing :T. Tasted great, but not quite the same - it was missing the deep fried taste :o, will definitely be making again :D. Better than the Birds Eye or any supermarket one by a long way.

Edit to say - I'm not blowing my own trumpet, I'm not a great cook, so stunned at how easy & good it was :)

Eek! Please don't publish the password on a public forum, we're not supposed to share it - Slimming World has contacted forums such as Minimins about this before. Fair enough if you know someone is a regular paying member but it's probably best just to PM it.
