Well I've been doing SW from home for a week and a half now as I've got the new pack and I've really enjoyed it so far. Made some lush meals (Chicken Tikka Masala) and some not so lush (Quorn sausages just don't float my boat). Not lost any weight as yet but I'm gonna keep on with it - I'm extremely impatient so a week and a half with no weight loss seems disasterous to me but i'm gonna keep the faith lol

I'm going to see Pink tonight in sunderland and am really looking forward to it. I'm gonna try and have tea before I go if I can get home in time (I've got a million and one things to do once i finish work at 12 today). If not, I'll have a look through the book to see what my best options are from the burger vans etc and also when it comes to alcohol - I don't go overboard on drinks usually only have a couple but would like to suss out whats best out of a bad bunch - any thoughts please?

Thank you mrsmcawber for the receipe for stifado can you tell me what i could use instead of muslin for the cinnamon stick cloves and cumin seeds as i am not sure where to get that from.

Just throw 'em in the pot, they're not going to harm you. You find cinnamon sticks and cumin seed in Indian and Middle Eastern food. If you really don't like the idea of fishing out a piece of tasty bark from your dinner (you won't even SEE the cumin seed once it's cooked) then use ground. I hope MrsMccawber agrees :p but that's what I'd do.

Well done on the losses again ladies :T

Yep -Blackberry-rum -I agree :D-I just bashed the cumin n cloves up in a pestle+mortar and threw them in and then threw in the cinnamon stick -then fished it out and the end ;)

Well here is my meal plan for today :-
    • 250ml semi skimmed X 2 = (AA)
    • lemon juice in warm water
    • 2 weetabix (B)
    • sliced banana
    • sliced roast beef
    • salad
    • gherkins
    • beetroot
    • melon
    • pineapple
    • SW coq au Vin (1.5)
    • 198g steamed potatoes (B)
    • carrots
    • 56g peas (2)
    • Melon
    • creamy yogurt (8) -if I feel like it
So that will be a max of 11.5syns today...
Im doing a challenge over on minimins -it was to do 21hrs exercise in 14 days and I have completed it with 3 days to spare :j...I have the wii addiction :p
Last time I did the coq au vin I did half for just the 2 of us -it is soooooooo nice that Im doing the full recipe today and then I will keep 1/2 in the freezer to re-heat for a "quicky" dinner....
Im planning another RED week next week -so Im off to plan -I have found planning my breakfast/lunch/dinner has worked really well for me. It made sure I used my A+Bs and got plenty of variety...although I did change my jacket potato salad last night into Thai steamed salmon :rotfl:-hubby was out late so didn't want feeding and its one of my faves (hubby doesn't like it) so i spoilt myself
rigth off to get some exercise done
Have a lovely day everyone :D

    Morning all!
Feeling confident today and empowered not to eat junk.
So far today I have had 2 scan bran and low fat cream cheese and a carrot!
I am going to have pasta and sauce with some courgette for my lunch, for dinner, who knows! I think the key for me is being organised which is not one of my strengths.

Anyone know the syns for a Chupa Chup lolly? :)
