  • Well done on the loss Fairyshazza.

Some yummy sounding menus on here today. I am well and truly back on plan after a week off. Had a quick sneaky weigh in this morning and it looks like 3lb on, but I'm pretty sure that is mostly fluid and will come off straight away with some healthy eating and drinking lots of water.

EE day for me as I'm having fish for tea. Well it is Friday ;).

B-Mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, 2 x wm bread from a small loaf (HEB)

L-Pickled onion soup, LF yogurt, Pear, Banana

D-HM Fishcakes, Asparagus, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Tbsp LF Mayo (2.5 syns), Strawberries, Raspberries

S- Skinny Latte (HEA), Kelloggs Fibre Plus Bar (5.5)

    =8 syns.

I really need to do some exercise today but I feel really bleurgh so not sure whether I will. Will try and get out for a run later as I'm sure that would make me feel better.

    Hi all,

Not been on for a while, had a few birthdays etc and just recently I've been a bit down in the dumps. Not been feeling right for the past few months, and just recently had a rash down my legs that wasn't shifting with tablets. Anyway, had blood tests yesterday for various things including thyroid. Just been looking on internet and it affects weight. If it is that it will be a relief in a way because whatever I've been doing the weight isn't shifting, its been creeping up. :(

Off to have a look through the thread, theres a lot to catch up on! :D

I bought some scan bran which I ate this morning. My brain wanted to eat it but my mouth did not want to swallow, lol, I just had some water with it. If I have a couple a day I could use it as 1 syn but how many make a HeB? I would probably consider it a waste of them but I have heard that they really help with the loss.

    Hope everyone is well!

We were given this Scan Bran Cake recipe the other day
    9 1/2syns in total

    28g porridge oats (or weetabix)
    5 scan bran
    1tbsp dark treacle
    3tbsp artificial sweetener
    3 beaten eggs
    2tbsp cinnamon

1 break the scan bran into small pieces then sprinkle on hot water. Leave for a few min, then break up with a fork, until the scan bran resembles breadcrumbs (use extra hot water if necessary) Stir in the porridge oats, treacle, cinnamon and sweetener. Mix in eggs and stir well.
    2. Line a loaf tin with foil and spray with fry light, bake 25-30 min in a medium oven (190C) or place in a microwavable container and microwave on high for 5min.
(You could add carrots for a different Carrot Cake)

We were given small tasters of the cake and I liked it

    [sorry my sense of humour]

Anyway I felt much better today but had a crashing headache by the time I got home, tried sleeping it off but didn't work so resorted to painkillers which eventually worked so feel ok now.

    Food today

    B - weetabix [b+ 3.5 syns] milk [a] coffee

L - 3 ww bread [7.5 syns], lettuce, tomato, cucumber, ex light salad cream [.5], babybel [a], muller, fibre plus bar

T - noodles, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans

Snacks - banana, tomatoes, oaty bar [3.5 syns]

    Syns - 15

WI tomorrow but not holding out much hope as * week :(
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Morning fellow SW'rs. It's quiet on here this morning. We're off to a Farmers' Market in a bit so I'll need to avoid all the yummy looking cakes and stick with the organic fruit and veg.

    Today's plan is green.

B-Banana, Fibre Plus Bar (HEB1), Tea (Millk from HEA1)

L-Depends what I get at the Farmers' Market but either salad and cottage cheese or veggie soup with 4 ryvitas (HEB2), LF Yogurt

D-Quorn Spag Bol with grated cheese (HEA2), Strawberries, Raspberries

    S-Mini Twister (2.5 syns), Pear

Not sure what else, but need a few more syns.

Hope everyone has a good Saturday.

Had a bit of a busy week so haven’t posted much.
Weigh in on Wednesday went well. I lost another 3lbs and was slimmer of the week, which I am quite pleased with. I seem to be able to follow the Extra Easy plan with no trouble.
    Today’s plan is:
B: Eat smart sausages (1 syn), Bacon, Eggs, Beans
    S: Muller light, Banana
L: Chicken and Garlic pasta quiche, Salad, Salad Cream (2 syns)
    S: Alpen Light (HEB)
D: Pork Shank in Honey & Mustard sauce (2.5 syns), Potatoes, Veg. SF Jelly and fruit.
S: Alpen Light (HEB), Curly Wurly (6 syns)
Drinks: Milk (HEA), Coffee, Diet coke, Water
Tomorrow may be a little difficult to stick with plan as going to a birthday party. Will do my best and flexi syn if necessary.
    Take care, K
