ok another question for those that do red and green days

if you did a green day which obv restricts meat etc. can i have a weightwatchers or eat smart meal with veg and mash for main dinner and count the syns on the ww meal etc

say i had 28g muesli ( whicyh is 5 syns ) but counted it as my two HEB

could i have beans and jacket spud or the free batchelors rice for lunch

then a ww meal veg and pot for dinner

would that class as a green day?

Yep, the syns take the meat into account on a ready meal. The muesli (28g) would only be 1 HEB I think.

    Morning all
Well done on the losses folks :T
Aliscrapper -hope everything is coming together for the wedding :D

So then my meal plan for today is:-
    • 250ml semi skimmed (A) X2
    • lemon juice in warm water
    • 3 rashers bacon
    • mushrooms
    • fresh tomatoes
    • melon
    • cheese stuffed sweet chilli burger(0.5) left from yesterday wink.gif
    • salad
    • gherkins
    • beetroot
    • SF jelly with berries (0.5)
    • orange
    • SW coq au vin (1.5) -frozen last week wink.gif
    • 198g steamed potatoes (B)
    • 71g peas (B)
    • cauliflower
    • broccoli
    • melon
    • pineapple
I concocted the burger recipe yesterday and they have gone onto the "must do again" list :T-they were so nice -and I don't normally like burgers.... I put courgette, peppers, spring onions and sweet chilli sauce in and used 1/2 A on 21g low fat cheddar in the middle of each mmmmmmmmm
We need to nip shoping when hubby gets in from work -MORE fruit n veg required, so I have taken out the coq au vin I put in the freezer last week ;) I can just flick the steamer on to cook the potatoes whilst we are out -then switch on the remoska to warm the coq ua vin and add the veggies to the steamer whilst I put the shopping away..... nice and easy

Right -Im away to fettle the spare bedroom (hopefully shedding a few cals whilst Im at it :p)
    Have a great day everyone

    Oh dear! WI today :o

I have fallen off the wagon this week - I didn't do my usual big shop after SW last Tuesday and I've been thrown off balance ever since.

I usually try and batch cook at least one meal, which does me a couple of days and the rest goes in the freezer, but I didn't do that either, and I didn't meal plan.

So basically I sabotaged myself, although I have tried to make healthy choices with what was in the cupboard, it wasn't the same at all (I think I got complacent because I 'winged it' the previous week and still lost 1.5lb).

I am pretty sure that I have gained this week though. I'll know soon enough as I usually go to an evening class, but today I'm going to an 11.30am class.

Oh well... I'll do a shop for lots of veggies after class and get myself back on track!

    Good luck to everyone

(PS the chilli burgers sound brilliant, please could you give us the recipe? thanks)
