ok have to admit the asmuch free food and the calories intake has me curious now
how many calories are people actually having a day? have any of you counted them out of curiosity at all
and if so on the amount you have are you losing weight
it would be interesting just to see what everyones calorie intake is and the outcome xxx0 -

i was the same tink but dont worry its fine
although havent found anyone particularly smilie or chatty at my normal group but last week i was able to go to the one before and they were a really friendly bunch and lady sat next to me was chatting away - shame i cant go to that one every week
maybe its cos my group is quieter so ppl dont have to sit next to each other - a few chairs gap between all the single bods but on the earlier one its busier so all chairs taken ?:j MFi3 wannabee :j

ThanksThere's only one group that i can go to as well but i've been in touch with the consultant and she seems great so it's confirmed my decision to go. As it's a small town and everyone's friendly i'm hopeful it'll be the same here, the car park's always quite busy on a Tuesday so fingers crossed for a friendly bunch!! x

I was a little bit naughty and weighed myself this morning as it’s mid week and I just like to have some kind of indication as to how I’m going and I have lost another 1.5lbs
If I can stick to plan I should be able to keep that off and hopefully add to a it a little as I don’t officially weigh in till Friday.
Am having an extra easy day today and my menu looks like this……
Breakfast: Fat free natural yoghurt with blueberries
Lunch: 2 slices wholemeal bread (HEB) lean ham, salad and a thin spread of Asda Low Fat lemon & Coriander Houmous on the bread so I don’t need any butter/spread (approximately 1.5 syns) 1 medium banana
Dinner: Steak, Cracked Pepper and Sea Salt Wedges (3 syns) and salad
Snacks: Fresh Strawberries, Fresh Blueberries, Fresh Plums, 1 orange – not sure if I’ll eat all of those yet but that’s what I’ve put by.
I have also been logging my calorie intake as well as following the plan and am finding that better than just eating as much of whatever I like. I use www.myfitnesspal.com to log my foods as it gives you an indication of how many calories you should be taking in a day to lose weight - how much you lose is determined by you up to a maximum of 2lb per week.
In response to your question Kath My Fitness Pal tells me to lose 2lb per week I should be eating 1340 calories a day. So Far I have lost 5lbs in a week and a half so it looks as if it is workingOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
