i got a fab soup recipe and a curry recipe if they help the soup is all speed foods so stock up on your fav luxury loo roll but its gorgous just doesnt sound it....
    leek and pea soup
    2 leeks
    2 onions
2 big tins of mushy peas
    2 cloves of garlic
    seasoning to taste

finely chop onions garlic and leek i usually boil in stock from an oxo rather than water for 20 mins til tender add the mushy peas and seasoning and let simmer for 10 mins and bobs your aunty a pan full of green stuff which doesnt look to appetising but is really lush, i use it after a heavy weekend to catch up a little ...., and is pizza hut a must? could you swap it for somewhere you could make fab choices on extra easy you can eat anything really your perogative to choose lol i do love pizza hut tho... good luck for your wedding and be good x

    Thank you for the recipe

Pizza hut is a must - i haven't had any pizza since i started SW and really want some - i know it won't help with the weight loss but 'its my birthday i will [STRIKE]cry[/STRIKE] eat if i want to' lol - i'm really looking forward to it!

For those who wanted the pickled onion soup -

    2 cans tomatoes
    1 can baked beans
    1 can carrots
1 pickled onion (i use tesco value & put in about 10 little ones)

    Blitz ingredients and warm through!

Had quite a good weekend - but today will be a struggle - not because it is my WI tonight but because i went to the dentist this morning and had injections in my mouth!!! Have eaten a ff activia yogurt though - will try and eat my weetabix soon & my fruit! & anything else i have which is not too crunchy!

In everyones opinion - is eating too much ff yogurts detrimental to weight loss?

My OH had big bowl of ice cream with malteasers yesterday - so i walked out of the room and washed up, cleaned the kitchen and cleaned the oven - where has this willpower come from? lol

Going to try to do green days this week as i don't feel that EE is agreeing with me - even though i am sticking to it 100% - even having 1/2 plate (sometimes more) of superfree foods! AND only having between 4 & 6 syns a day (apart from friday nights - chinese!) AND doing at least 2 exercise classes a week (3 this week) with the added bonus of walking for 2 hours yesterday with OH whilst he was metal detecting!

(had sneaky look on scales and doesn't look promising!:()

Does anyone have an opinion about eating late at night? Does it affect weight loss if eat past 8pm every night? Is it better to eat syns during day rather than 10pm?

When did the quorn burgers change to have syns in them? I'm well dissappointed!

Just trying to find out what i might be doing wrong!

    Sorry for the essay

Well done to all loosers x

A lot of people seem to have the opinion that eating late at night does affect your weightloss. I'm sure I read somewhere that your metabolism stays at the same rate through the night which meant it didn't matter, however there is a diet of which the main focus is that you don't eat carbs past 6pm which Anna Richardson from 'Supersize vs Superskinny' swears by, so there must be something in it? Personally I often get so hungry before I go to bed that I know it's going to keep me awake; my solution has been to have 1/3 of a Kelloggs Fibre Plus bar. I cut them into pieces & keep them in the fridge - that way my brain is just so happy it's had chocolate it stops complaining about the hunger!

I agree with you about Pizza Hut being a must - their tomato and mozzerellla mezzaluna is my favourite meal to eat out, and it's only 4 1/2 syns! My favourite dessert unfortunately is the hot cookie dough & ice cream (which is a sharing dessert but I could happily eat it to myself) however it's not listed on the website so naturally it must be free... :p

The last time i went to Pizza hut i had the cookie dough & ice cream to myself and i plan on eating it again on my birthday - aswell as a nice meat feast with extra chilli flakes mmmmmm... mouth watering just thinking about it!

I think i may try and eat my syns earlier in the day - i usually like to have my treat when everything in the house is done and i can sit watching telly for an hour - usually chocolate!

I have already mixed up what i eat - i don't eat the same brekkie/dinner/tea all the time - heb & hea's are swapped around alot

Maybe i need to have 10 syns a day?

I have even cut out milk in my coffee so i can either have cheese with my meal or a mock milkshake before bed - so i know it is measured out properly!

Is having too much sweetner possibly affecting WL?

Am glad you said that nessie - I didn't realise the burgers were synned and had one yesterday. The one I had was only half a syn though - will go amend my diary.

I personally eat late at night. We have dinner around 7.30pm/8pm and will usually have a snack around 11pm. However we don't tend to go to bed till midnight/1am and the weight is still coming off. With the yogurts, I've been known to scoff 3 a day and again, the weight is coming off. Better than a packet of crisps ;)

I spose ff yogurts are better than crisps or ice cream etc. but i probably get though at least 4 a day!

Glad i am not the only one who eats late at night - i usually go to bed at 10 - 11pm and eat my treats at 9ish - we normally eat at 8pm because of me getting home at 7.30!!!

Need to start planning more in advance and maybe preparing most things the night before so it won't always be that late!

    Thank you x

I too eat late at night as we usually eat dinner around 7.30pm and then a little snackette is squeezed in before sleep time... it used to be toast and biscuits:eek: now it is fruit & or yoghurts.. or toast and marmite if I have any sins left (usually not though). I think I have lost 3lb this week but it is official weigh in tomorrow so I will know for sure then.

Thought some of you may like to see this that someone has shared on another website I go on:

    OREO CHEESECAKE....

    Serves 6
20 syns for entire cheesecake on Green, Red or Extra Easy
approx 3.5 syns for 1/6 of the cheesecake
    Ingredients
    700g of Quark
    8 Oreos (20 syns)
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
    1 cup of splenda
    Frylight/Pam Buttery Spray

    Method
Preheat oven to 160c or 325f
Grease a spring form cake tin with some Frylight/Pam Buttery Spray
Place 6 of the Oreos into a food bag and bash with a rolling pin until very fine.
Spread out in the base of the cake tin and press down firmly.
In a large bowl, add the Quark and Splenda and whisk thoroughly.
Add the vanilla essence and then beat into the mixture one egg at a time.
Place the remaining two Oreos into the food bag and bash roughly.
    Stir this into the mixture.
Pour the mixture into the cake tin and bake in the oven for about 30-45mins until cheesecake starts to golden at the edges but is still soft in the centre.
Turn off the oven, but leave the cheesecake in there to cool.
Once cooled transfer to the refrigerator.

There are some pictures of the one she has made and it looks delicious! I tried copying them but it won't let me :( I did find a few pictures online though

I wish you could see these girls pictures as it really looks much better than this one above! The filling is so thick and creamy looking. I'm definitely going to have a go at it at the weekend :)
