We are having a go at the cheesy couscous burgers today, Hubby is making them and has decided to adapt them, so will put chilli in , i'm not a big fan but he assures me it won't be too hot [ better not be] hes also not putting cheese in but I'm sneaking some into mine one way or another
. Will let you know how it goes.

love slimming world i find it so easy started on the plan at end oct 2009 and now 3stone 2 1/2lb lighter i know i need to loose about another 5stone but have given myself to the end of 2011 (will be well happy if get there before this), hubby is doing it a bit by default as i tend to do the shopping and cooking and he has also lost nearly 2 stone. i love the fact you dont have to go hungry and hubby as just about got his head around the fact you actually eat more but loose weight lol my consultant is great too always there when you need a bit of encouragement. good look all.... :-))0

Wow Ladybabe, that is fanstastic... well done to you and your hubby. I only started last week and find it mind bogglingly easy... I can't wait until Tues to get on the scales to see how much I have lost officially (I do keep peeking and know it is going down)."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0

right my tiramisu has been made and is now sitting in the fridge. The whole thing is 12 syns. Now it could easily serve 3 people but 2 people if they want a fair size portion. As i've used quark i'm leaving it in the fridge overnight so the quark can infuse with the coffee.
If i post the ingredients - can someone kindly advise me if i could have used a lower syn alternative
Pot of Quark
Mug of cold, sweetened coffee
5tbsp of sweetener (or to taste - i love sweet stuff)
3tsp of amaretto (cant stand masala wine - bleugh) (1.5syns)
8 sponge finger biscuits @ 1 syn each = 8 syns
1 square of milk chocolate 2.5syns
Add 1.5 tsp of amaretto to the coffee
Mix the quark with the sweetener, 4tsps of coffee and 1.5tsps of amaretto.
lay 4 sponge fingers at the bottom of the container spoon over enough coffee to soften them.
Layer half of the quark on top
lay the rest of the sponge fingers on top of the quark
spoon over enough coffee to soften the sponge fingers
Put the rest of the quark mix on top
Grate the chocolate square over the top of the tiramisu.
Leave in fridge.
Now this is the first time i have made any sort of tiramisu so forgive me if i'm not technically correct!! Also the syns were higher than i anticipated but i think a proper italian tiramisu is much much higher!!I shall let you all know how it tastes tomorrow.
If it tastes crap i will not make it again! lol
EDIT - Just checked.. an average serving of italian restaurant tiramisu is 20 syns...All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Well the couscous burgers went down a treat [thank you Carmen :T], full of onion, garlic and chilli [not hot at all] yum yum. Son didn't like them enough to have more than 1 but at least he ate some. I still have leftovers for tomorrow [if they last that long]. I will be making them again but with cheese next time too as I put half my babybel inside mine and it was lush.
So food today was
B - weetabix [b + 3.5 syns] milk [a] coffee
L/T - roast pork, salad [lettuce, tomato, cucumber], boiled egg, beans, babybel [2 syns], couscous burgers x 2 [oil spray between 8 burgers 1 syn], ex light salad cream [.5 syn]
Snacks - muller & pineapple
Syns - 7 [depending how many syns were in half a french stick earlier in week I may just have gone over weekly syns by 2.5 if my estimate was about right for fs that is].
Walked to waitrose and back again today [miles away] and got last 2 packs of fibre plus bars for £1, have loads to keep me going nowIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
