Hi everyone! I'm laid on the sofa, pretty much unable to move after walking 20 miles!!! It was seriously hard in this weather (although its not easy in any weather!!!). I've been mostly good food wise but I have had an ice cream whilst walking and an extra heb (of syns) when I got in. I think the exercise should easily make up for it though!!!

    Well done you, wow!

Was it a charity walk? I'm sure you'll have walked off the ice cream and extra HEB so give yourself a pat on the back and relax :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

If he has more syns (up to the allowed 15) he may lose the weight a little more slowly but he's far more likely to learn (and enjoy) eating in a more healthy way and therefore continue to eat more healthily when he's lost his excess.

That way, he won't have to 'go on a diet' ever again :D One to two pounds a week is the ideal weight loss too, so you're doing really well, keep at it :T
Thanks Consultant. I've just read that out to him, he's sitting munching an ice pole all holier than thou saying 'so I will lose more quicker my way then. Aargh. Think he just enjoys winding me up! Got him to have a HEx A and he still had just 3 syns today!! Am getting him to eat a bit more each day, he reckons he gets the idea but can't get his head round the eating more bit but loved his huge lunch and dinner I made so as long as I'm cooking I should be able to keep him eating at least a bit properly.

    My days munchings were:

Both HExA's for milk/coffee/cereals throughout the day
    Breakfast~
    Porridge (HExB) & Chopped banana
    Strawberry Irish yogurt
    Cup of tea
    Snack~
    Apple
    Lunch~
    Cheesy mushroom, onion omelette (HExB2)
    Tinned tomatoes
    Lettuce
    Cup of tea
    Dinner~
    Jacket potato, 2tsp spread (4syns)
    Rissolles (3syns)
    Lettuce, pickled onions
    Glass of water

    Syns total: 7 :)

    Morning all

Weigh in this morning says I have lost 2.5lb :j-which means I just need 2lb off to get my 10% and 2.5lb off to get my 2st :D.... Hubby lost 3lb this week and thats without giving up his beer -or cheese n ryvitas ...so he is as happy as a pig in muck :T
Today Im starting my week of RED days...Im really looking forward to it..I have my entire weeks menu sorted right down to snackies (although if I need more fruit etc I will have it) -so here is my plan for today:-
Consultant31 -I have put it into my SW online diary and it looks right -but could you just cast an eye over it and let me know if it looks right please? -with it being new to me I don't want to drop a clanger :o

    DAY 1 -RED
    • 250ml semi skimmed (A)
    • 250ml semi skimmed (A)
    • lemon juice in warm water
    • 2 bacon
    • 2 eggs -scrambled
    • fresh tomatoes -warmed through
    • mushrooms
    • galia/honeydew melon
    • pineapple
    • roast chicken
    • 198g new potatoes -steamed in skins(B)
    • 71g steamed peas (B)
    • carrots
    • cabbage
    • cauliflower
    • green beans
    • 1tsp bisto best chicken granules (0.5)
    • SF jelly with berries(0.5)
    • creamy yogurt (8)
    Total - 9 syns used

I haven't had brekkie yet -and the chicken dinner will be had about 4pm (when hubby gets home) -which is why I have put down fruit for "lunch" as i won't need a full meal as a cooked brekkie keeps me full for ages ;)
Right -I will get away and make my brekkie mmmmmm
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend...

Was lazy yest and didn't get up until half 11 so just had lunch. I know yest wasn't ideal cos I didn't eat a whole lot and i don't eat very much fruit or veg cos I don't like them.
I'll try to eat more manadarins/clementines as snacks & be a bit more imaginitive with my food.

    Thank you :)

    Happy Sunday!

    Today is EE

B - 28g Fruit and Fibre (+ 1 w/g crackerbread) (Heb) with milk (hea) cup of tea. Had spoonful of white choc quark (0.5) on my crackerbread. Also had a nommy coconut ring biscuit (2)

L - Roast chicken (the seasoning is 0.5 syns per teaspoon - we are using 2 so thats 1syn between 5 people! Plus it will only be on the skin so i'm counting as free!) SW chips and plenty of vegetables :) Small amount of gravy (2.5syns)

D -(if i feel hungry!) i have some leftover stir fry veg so may do that with some quorn pieces and oyster sauce (1syn) :) (EDIT - atm i am sooo full from lunch i dont think i'm gonna get that far!)

    Total syns 6.

    EDIT - i have also "tasted" .. ahem.. 2 sponge fingers (2) and i had a stuffing ball with dinner (3) so i've had 11syns! :)

I'm going to our allotment today so will get a bit of exercise in :) Am hoping to bring home some veggies :D I really cannot wait for July/Aug when everything is ready to be harvested!! I will have lots and lots of yummy organic superfree food!! :D

Also, i might have an attempt at a SW friendly Tiramisu (my take!) so i shall let you know how i get on! :D
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

No it wasn't a charity walk, I'm daft enough to do it for 'fun'!!!! I think I may be ever so slightly mad!!!

    Well Done you losers!:D

Lisa26 I am very impressed with your 20 miles walks, do you do them every weekend?

OH is similar to yours MrsM he says just tell me what to eat and I'll eat it LOL. He has accepted on EE he can only have 1 bread choice a day... but he can have beans on toast for breakfast with bacon so he is happy rather than 2 bread choices and no bean breakfast - he doesn't like eggs or tomatoes that aren't 'in' something.. oh or cheese or pasta.

I've been doing EE days for the past 3 days (Initially I was scared they wouldn't work even after reading your successes) and they work!! LOL. So I am keeping to them as they are sooooo easy and keep OH happy especially as we had peppered steak, Jacket and salad for dinner last night.... and this is a diet.. bring it on!!!

    Today for me
    B - 1 toast (B) baked beans, 3 rashers lean bacon, 1 tbsp brown sauce (1)
    L - Tomato pasta
D - Cajun chicken, Salad and SF wedges or rice
Snx - grapes, chicken rolls, yoghurt, mango and banana
