  • I'm now on my 3rd attempt at SW. I know it works, just haven't been sticking to it. Had my second weigh-in last night. Lost 1/2 lb. And thats with having a works night out. Which also had some food laid on - which I didn't have. I had made myself a stir-fry to eat before going out. Over the past 2 weeks, have lost a total of 4lbs. :D

Hi all. WI for me tonight. After my new consultant told me a few weeks ago that i shouldn't write a food diary as its not normal, I haven't done and as a result I haven't followed the plan at all! I'm dreading WI but tomorrow I will be back to doing my food diary and hopefully back on track!
I've had a really busy day today preparing a presentation for an interview tomorrow and haven't had time to go for any lunch - serves me right for not being organised!! I'm staaaaaaaaaaaaaarving now!! Going home now to raid the fridge!!!

I decided for myself to write everything down as often would 'forget' I had eaten certain things :D. My old consultant never said we shouldn't write food diaries though. Each to their own I suppose but do whatever works for you is my advice. Good luck with wi though [wish there was a fingers crossed smilie].
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Food today

    B - weetabix [b + 3.5 syns], milk, coffee

L - fibre plus bar really quite filling either that or just not hungry :D.

T - pickled onion soup [yummy] with added new potatoes. Was a bit thick for my liking so added some water to thin it.

    Snacks - muller & pineapple

Syns - 3.5 could have more if peckish later but hope to keep low to make up for yesterday.

Can anyone confirm with the HEA if say for instance you could have 6 mini babybel light or 250ml semi skimmed milk you could have half of each and still count that as your one HEA?

Yip, according to SW online its fine to split your HE's like that, I do this all the time.

As MrsM said they are a HEB choice but they're also only 3.5syns so you may be better of synning them and taking something else as a HEB choice.

OMG Moo, i have the exact same problem in my office!!!! I am surrounded by women who do nothing but eat! It would be biscuits, cakes, toast, chips, KFC, chinese takeaways...

We have now been told that we cannot have any hot food at our desks anymore but that does not stop the cakes, biscuits, crisps etc!!

Can anyone explain success express to me? I looked through book - but didn't quite get it!

    Extra Easy:

    1: Choose your Free Food

Anything that’s Free Food on Green OR Original – so that’s pasta, rice, potatoes, lean meat, poultry, fish and all the Superfree food – is totally Free on Extra Easy! Yes, you can eat unlimited meat, potatoes and veg, fish, chips and mushy peas, and chicken curry and rice with no measuring, no weighing, no counting – no kidding!
But for super-fast, super healthy results, fill one third of your plate with Superfree Food!

    2: Choose your Healthy Extras

Each day select one Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice and one Healthy Extra ‘b’ choice from the list of calcium and fibre-filled foods, including milk, cheese, bread and cereal.

3: Enjoy 5-15 Syns each day

And if the Syn values for Green and Original foods are different on the standard Syns lists, count the lower one!

Hope this helps. It is really easy, just takes a bit of getting used to. If you need any more help just ask :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
