Is this forum for people who are already members of Slimmingworld or can anyone join. Howdo you find the details?
I've done WW and unislim in past.
    Thanks

Jinnywren, this is a forum for anyone! You don't have to be a member of Slimming World - there's lots of recipes and help from other people. The only thing you won't get is the Slimming World password as that is only for members. However, you can still get onto the Slimming World website and look at their sample menus etc without the password.

Right, I'm determined to get back on track so here's my meal plan for the day: (it's a green day so I can have some cheese on my tea as my second A choice!)

    Breakfast - Porridge (HEA&B), Banana
Lunch - pickled onion soup, salad, salad cream (2), fruit salad, yogurt (HM with mixed berries in).
Tea - Chicken (HEB) pasta bake with lots of veggies in, served with salad and maybe some SW chips. Salad cream (2).
    Snacks - peach, apple, satsumas.

That's only 4 syns for my salad cream so I may well have a little something for supper!

i've had an interview this morning and I think it went well, I'd normally celebrate with a naughty lunch but instead I feel positive and have good SW vibes!!!

Hey all, after having 4 different consultants for my first 4 weeks I decided to give up on my class (discouraging how little they seemed to put in to running the group!) but am back on board now as I think we have a new one who is much more motivated. So, back on the waggon I go. I am out for Indian for someone's birthday tonight and would like some advice on what to eat. So far today I have had a banana so the world is my oyster in the red, green or extra easy world! I don't mind eating veggie at all but would like to be able to have some naan bread or a chapatti or maybe a starter instead but know naans are pretty syn high.

    Thanks in advance! :)

    Mmmm Indian food.

I'd def go with chapatti (7.5 on R&G) instead of naan (20 on R&G days).

Starter.. chicken/fish/lamb tikka or tandori which is usually served with a nice little salad. I think that must be the best option for a starter.

Main... Tough one without going along the same vain as the starter and having Tikka/Tandori Chicken as a main. From my basic printed off syns list the following are the lowest syns per avg portion on a ...

Red day...Chick Dhansak (6.5) Chick Jalfrezi (8.5) Chick Tandori (9) Chick Vindaloo (8) Lamb Rogan Josh (6.5)

Green...Plain boiled rice (free) Veg curry (9) Veg Jalfrezi (7.5)

Enjoy your meal, wish I was joining you, good Indian restaurants are hard to find here.

    Thanks Trixietoes, that is great
I guess I won't be having a naan then eh? That is a crazy number of syns isn't it?
Lamb Rogan Josh with boiled rice and a chapatti sounds good. Just need to keep my hands off the poppodums now :)

    thank you

I freeze mine - I find the quantities stated in the recipe give me 4 portions, one for lunch & 3 for the freezer.

Personally shala_moo, I can't taste the beans. It's all tomatoey and vinegary to me! I think the beans just help to thicken it up some.
