Planned food for today... (Green)
B - museli & skim milk (HEa&b)
L - Tomato & potato bake (HEa for cheese) and broccoli
D - H/M turkey burgers HEb, syn free chips, and salad
Snx - apple & something to use up some syns but not sure yet.
Don't know how I am going to make the bake yet I am yet to make something up.. unless anyone has any suggestions??
RE potato bake - i have one ready for tonights tea that is really easy and gorgeous
Oil/Spray casserole dish - slice potatoes thinly about 2 layers then add sliced mushrooms and slightly watered down ff cottage cheese & another layer potato/mushrooms until dish is full - let the last layer be potato - then smother in ff cottage cheese (not watered down) bake covered in medium/hot oven for 1 hour - then un-cover and cook for another half hour - you could add tomatoes to top and cheese from hea if you want but it does go really nice without the hea worth cheese.
I put on 1lb last night :j not that i am happy about putting on - but considering the desert on sat night - i am not surprised - i also ate during the day before WI - to get myself used to eating during WI days!
Going to do EE for rest of the week (apart from Friday as it is takeaway night!) and stick to the least amount of syns possible - as i want to loose 7.5lbs by 21st June (birthday :j) to make it to 4st total - which means an average of 2.5lbs a week - superspeed foods all the way!!!
Can anyone explain success express to me? I looked through book - but didn't quite get it!
Todays plan is EE
B - 1 weetabix (1/2heb) warm water, muller light, banana
L - chicken with courgettes, carrots, mushrooms, spring onions & chopped toms with strawberries & raspberries with yogurt for afters
D - smoked cod with hm parsley sauce with carrots, brocolli, cauliflower, swede, sweetcorn (?) and potato bake (as above) followed by jelly with summer fruits (1) and 4 scan bran (1/2heb) with quark mixed with yogurt with sliced apple
Drinks - coffee with hea milk - water
Hopefully i am having enough superfree foods :rotfl:
Might have some hollondaise sauce with cod but need to see how many syns it is first.
Sorry to rant on
Well done to all you losers x0 -
I've had a bad weekend, it was my birthday on Saturday and lo's birthday on Monday so that meant, alcohol, cake, party food and takeaways, resulting in 4lb on! Did have a brilliant weekend though so just going to put it behind me!
First trip to the gym tonight, think I'm going to be aching in the morning!
Today is extra easy for me:
B- 2 weetabix (B), 250ml semi-skimmed (A)
L- boiled potato, ham, tomato, spring onion, lettuce, extra light mayo (3).......this was delicious!!
D- pasta & sauce with extra mushrooms and leeks
S- bananas, kiwi, water & maybe a mugshot.
The weather is lovely here and I find I stick to plan better when it's like this, I just keep imagining all those lovely summer clothes!0 -
Belated Birthday wishes Cheeseaddict.. and well done to everyone for sticking at it...
Re Butterbuds - i bought some last time i was doing SW and they aren't nice.. i still use them occassionally(have to use up the pack) but i have to mix them with a little bit of water first otherwise I find they stay in their powdered form on your food! I wouldn't recommend them..
Well had my first weigh in last night and I lost 4.5 lbs which i'm thrilled about.. hoping to lose another 2.5lb next week for my half stone(but i do have a party to go to Saturday night:o)
Does anyone else have the issue of work colleagues eating lovely food in the office? My work colleagues go to the chip shop at least twice a week and all I can smell all afternoon is chips  it makes it soooooo difficult.. plus all the cakes/biscuits and crisps they bring in!!!
Anyway sorry to end on a whinge.. Good luck to everyone this week,

Am sitting here with a very smelly dog at my feet, just back from walk and the dog fell in a water filled ditch. Hubby then pushed him in river to clean him off so imagine the smell [yuk]. Was funny though
.
Decided to walk to Waitrose as someone said they had fibre plus bars on offer for £1 so bought 3 packs, never had these b4 but very moreish aren't they? Also got a tin of carrots for pickled onion soup [on stove as we speak]. The shops about 3 miles away and from there we walked along the river [hence dog falling in] then a 3 mile power walk back trying to keep up with son [6' 2 ish] & hubby [6' 1] as well as mad wet dog. Must have sweated a few pound off as is very hot today. Hopefully all this exercise will make up for yesterdays french stick, anyone know how many syns in half a french stick? I know i said I would just forget about yesterday but am obsessed with writing everything down and really need to know the syns [just to beat myself up I know]. I know its 3.5 for 28g but not sure how many grammes in half a french stick, probably best not to know
.
Anyhoo off to blitz my soup. Well done on the losses everyone :T:T:T
sorry for the essay :eek:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi all. WI for me tonight. After my new consultant told me a few weeks ago that i shouldn't write a food diary as its not normal, I haven't done and as a result I haven't followed the plan at all! I'm dreading WI but tomorrow I will be back to doing my food diary and hopefully back on track!
I've had a really busy day today preparing a presentation for an interview tomorrow and haven't had time to go for any lunch - serves me right for not being organised!! I'm staaaaaaaaaaaaaarving now!! Going home now to raid the fridge!!!0
