Warsaw is a bit of a trek for some shopping ;):rotfl:
Thanks for the curry advice, I had lamb rogan josh with a chapatti and boiled rice and had a poppodum with the bits to start. :A
Okay, not quite as angelic as that but much better than usual, I normally have a peshwari naan to myself!

Warsaw Tesco is a bit far isn't it :rotfl::rotfl: FYI if anyone was thinking of doing the same... it's not worth the bother!

They didn't have any Frylite or Spenda Grrr I'll have to get some when I go home to visit mom next week.

Glad to hear you held your nerve at the Indian I don't think I could have been so good.

Morning all. Those laughing cow blue cheese things look delish! Has anyone tried them? I REALLY love blue cheese, can you taste it much?

    Here's my plan for today:

    Breakfast - porridge & banana
Lunch - leftover pasta bake from last night (with chicken and loads of veggies in it). Melon & pineapple, yogurt with mixed berries.
Tea - SW fish & chips (need to look up sysns for the breadcrumbs) with mushy peas and carrots and green beans. Will probably have a couple of sysns worth of ketchup too.
Snacks - Apple, satsumas, peach. Pickled onion soup (OH is at work till 8.45pm and then has a 45min drive so tea will be late, the soup will keep me going till then!)

I'll still have plenty of syns too so I might just treat myself to something naughty for supper. Actually, as we're having a late tea I'd probably best have some syns when I have my soup snack!

Tomorrow I'm doing a 20 mile walk!! I'm planning to make a big pasta salad to take with me and I'll have Marion's breakfast rice before I set off.

The general rule is 5-15 syns per person regardless of gender. However if you are EXTREMLEY overweight your syns may be increased under the supervision of a consultant.(as atated on the website)
Bread is a tricky one , Its my favourite food ,but it is also the thing that will stop me from losing weight so i have to ration it!
I have had to accept that limit it.
On days that he has a real urge for bread swap to a green or red day so he can have 2 Hebs worth of bread.
It is the only thing i have trouble with on this plan.
    good luck

My OH is joining me on my SW eating plan and I was wondering do men get any more syns than us ladies (he's not a manual worker so won't burn off millions of calories each day).

His weakness is bread... he's trotted off to work today with 2 pieces of toast (big slices) with what I can guess as a mountain of real full fat butter  and a tin of beans for his breakfast then & BBQ pork salad with new potatoes for lunch. I made his lunch yesterday but breakfast was unsupervised ... hence 2 toast and butter. I am not sure now what eating plan is best to make for dinner considering what he has had today.

I'm off to find the big Tesco in Warsaw which I've been told is a 30 min metro ride away:eek: hopefully I can get some frylite and splenda and very low fat yogs.

    • huge salad
    • ham
    • steamed potatoes
    • fruit
    • creamy yogurt (8)
After a really hungry day a couple of days back Im now having a "Im not hungry day" :rotfl: -so My meal plan looks a little lean -BUT I will add extras if I find I need them...

Thanks Consultant -thats is great thankyou..I couldn't find frozen peas/corn for love nor money in the book or on the website :o
So now I know that I will sort out a meal plan to start on Sunday -I have never done original/green -so lets see how I get on... I figure spending syns on peas/corn (I put them with everything) will be a good way of using more syns up :j

    Hi all
Sticking to the extra easy plan as this seems to be working for me. Today’s menu is:
B: Banana and Vanilla Muller light yoghurt
L: Baked potato with left over Bolognese from yesterday.
    S: Activia raspberry yoghurt
D: Bacon and Red Pepper Quiche, Salad, Salad Cream (2.5 syns), 28g low fat cheddar (3.5 syns)
S: Mint crunch Hifi bar (HEB)
Drinks: Coffee, diet coke, milk (HEA)
Need to get a bit more fruit in as well. May make a fruit salad for after dinner.
    :xmastree:
    Merry Christmas
