so overall today ive had 2.5 syns; but iam trying to undo the damage of my excessive week so far!

takeiteasy - chin up! keep going, ive had my ups and down with this diet (and if im honest its only ever because ive not be 100% truthful...) just keep going! for some it some of really fast, but for others (including myself) it may take a whil longer at 1lb or so a week. but that is fine, you just have to keep going but it WILL come off! just mix it up, make it exciting! there is no reason to feel deprived with all the yummy recipes on offer!!

    xx

    Hi all! :)

MRSMCAWBER - your weight loss so far is fantastic!! :D

    Liz3yy - i reckon that 2lb is a bit of fluid retention. . . you wouldn't gain 2lbs of fat overnight!!
Back on the wagon today :) Green day for me :)

B - Fruit and Fibre (heb) with milk (hea) - i am trying to find a way to incorporate that 1 pesky scan bran i need to eat (i stayed at my friends house n this was the only SW friendly cereal she had!) Also had a handful of fresh cherries :)

L - HM chilli con carne (SW recipe) I used the quorn steak strips instead of mince (i wish i never bothered tho coz they are minging). Also I didn't have any tinned tomatos so added 1tbsp of ketchup to the baked beans i also put in! I ate half with boiled rice- 0.5 syns

S - 5 syns worth of pringles, 1 leftover poppadom (2syns), mini choc twister ice lolly (2)

D ?? Its either going to be A) Cheese on toast with 2tbsp of pickle (hea2, Heb2 and 2syns) or B) pasta n sauce with cheese (hea2) and a hifi bar to have with a cuppa :)

Drinks today have been - water and asda's version of Dr Pepper zero :)

Total syns so far 9.5 potentially 11.5 dependant on what i have for dinner :)

I had the fruit and fibre for breakfast and broke the scan bran into tiny pieces and mixed it up with my muller light yogurt and a handful of strawberries. I think the secret with the scan bran is to break it into as small a pieces as you can get!:rotfl:

Where do you get the mini choc twister ice lolly from?? They sound yummy!:D

Mix the Quark and eggs and cheese together till smooth and pour over whatever else you want in the pan. I always cook one side on the hob and then transfer to under a hot grill to cook the top as it makes it all rise up and be lovely and thick and fluffy :D

Li33y if you weigh at home minus your clothes and then weigh at a meeting with your clothes - that will make a difference also :) Could you be coming onto your * week? That caused me to put on 2lb the other week but it came off and then some last week.

Ali - they had it cold for brekkie too. I looooove cold pizza. Looking forward to some Chinese Batchelors savoury rice and Quorn for my tea though :) Had it for lunch the other day and it was nommy.

I love cold pizza too!:D Well done for being so strong willed that you manged to resist twice - that takes some doing!:T

What did you have with your Quorn? I'm always looking for new ways of using quorn!

TakeItEazy - I know you love your weetabix but have you tried switching to a different breakfast?? Maybe have your weetabix 3 times a week but have a different cereal on the other days? Maybe your body is so used to digesting and metabolising (iyswim) weetabix, its not getting the best from it. By switching your body might go "ARGH NEW FOOD!" and kick start itself.

Thats what i would probably do but i'm sure one of the more experienced SW people or Consultant31 will tell me if i'm wrong! :)

Vickie - I totally agree with you on this one. When I first got my hands on the Kelloggs Fibre Plus bars; I was eating one for a b choice every day; and I was gaining weight. I now only have a maximum of 4 Kelloggs Fibre Plus bars in a week and usually only use two of those as a b choice; and syn the other two and my weight started shifting again!:D Variety definitely is the spice of life!:D

hmmm i wonder how tiny i can get it... lol.

I bought them from asda - when they were £1 a box but they have gone up again. I think tesco have them for £1.50 a box and Asda have them for 2 for £3. You get 8 in a box and they are much more substantial than a mini milk! :D:D Def worth the 2 syns!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

It definitely adds to how much the breakfast fills you up if you can manage the scan bran; as 1 oz of Fruit & Fibre is unforutnatley very
    little:(

Will have a look next time I'm in Asda's; as an ice lolly for 2 syns is brilliant:D - thanks!

Oh god yeah. I'm usually ok as my body has got used to the tiny amounts of cereal! :)

I've just had dinner so I'm a bit too full atm to even contemplate breaking the scan bran up to eat!

They are lush! I think the strawberry/lime ones are only 2.5 syns each! :)

I'm only just beginning to eat cereal again; as I'm not keen on milk, but have found that the cereal is still quite moist with yogurt. Is in a desperate attempt to eat something other than cereal bars for my b choice!:rotfl:
