B - 2x sunnybisk (heb) with milk (hea) 1 satsuma, cup of tea
L - Chinese Buffet (the shame!) It was my friends birthday. I did make sure that 1/3 of my plate was the beanshoots to ease the synnage!
D - 2 x Portabello mushrooms and scrambled egg followed by toffee ML
EDIT - and another satsuma!
i have drunk 3 pints of water, 1 cup of tea and some dr pepper zero
Well done Vickie for trying to stay on track despite the odds!:T0 -
I use Quark in omellettes Ali. Half tub of quark, 2 eggs, 14 g of cheese mixed in and whatver extras you want. Tastes SOOOO cheesy! And only uses half a HE - makes a humungous omellette too. Nommy, nommy. Just cook one side of the omellette in the pan then whack it under a hot grill to do the top and it rises up nice and fluffy. Num!
Oh and now I've done the slimming bit - check out this girls blog, new giveaway every week. I won it a few weeks ago. Sparkly Copics!! She's so lovely too. Have got a couple of candies on my crafty blog sidebar that I've found. That other blog you mentioned I find it very hard to view on my screen, dunno why, maybe my pc playing up again. Shame as looks a good blog.:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0 -

Many things.
My fave is mixing 2tsp of lemon curd in with it! For 2 syns you have a huge pot of lemon loveliness!! I spread it on my crackerbreads or i put some on top of a morrisons oaty biscuit to have a little cheesecake for about 3.5 syns
I also mixed a white choc options and some sweetener in it for another cheesecake friendly topping. I had that on top of some strawberries and raspberries and it was divine!
I also used it in SW quiche and i have to say i find Quark better than cottage cheese as the texture is smoother
I have been using it as a sweet rather than a savoury but i might add some homegrown chives and spring onion and some garlic into it to make a dip/cheese spreadnom nom nom.
You do have to flavour it! If you add your flavour and leave it overnight it will take on the taste of what you've added.. its lush like that but rank on its own lolAll hail to the sale!!!!!!

Aargh, I've been a snack monster this evening! I've had 4 x oreos and a mini bag of toffee popcorn which I think is about 15 syns altogether. Unfortunately I had already used all my syns for the day :rotfl:. Oh well, I know it could have been much, much worse. Onwards and upwards tomorrow
.
I mix quark with a Tbsp of pesto for 2.5 syns. Leave it over night then stir it through hot pasta for a really creamy tasting dish.
I think someone on here said they mix quark with cheddar (HEA) then grill it on toast to make a welsh rarebit type thingy.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Ok I tried joining you all a while ago and failed miserably. I would say I fell off the wagon but to be honest I don't think I ever really got on it
I have had a real pep talk with myself though and have sat down and re-read my Extra Easy booklets today and hace decided that I am now feeling motivated enough to try this properly starting tomorrow.
Qucik question for you all do you plan your meals for a week in advance, day in advance or do you just decide in the morning? One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
I used to buy quark and let it sit n the fridge till it went off cos I didn't know what to do with it
Now, I can't get enough of the stuff, it tastes great savoury or sweet.
It is a good idea to plan ahead a bit though - as others have said, if you can mix it and leave it a while it takes the taste of whatever you've mixed with it.
Oh! And the lemon curd mix sounds divine - I love lemon curd but don't eat it as I am diabetic and it has too much sugar, but mixing it with quark could be just the compromise I need!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
