mrsiwannabefree, if you haven't already I would highly recommend measuring yourself - I didn't and now I wish I had, because sometimes even if the weight doesn't seem to be shifting we're still shrinking :D

    Morning all

I measured myself this morning and have lost 2" overall :T and my trousers are not so tight either - happy days :rotfl:

I have a wii fit and do enjoy it, but it's not exactly a hard workout! The yoga and muscle training are really good though as it helps you see if you're doing it right!

WI for me tonight. I feel really bloated today so I hope that doesn't show on the scales. Not holding out any hope of getting my 10% this week now, but hopefully I will get close enough that I can do it next week.

    Food today-

    B- 2 x Weetabix (HEB1), 250ml S/S Milk (HEA1), Tsp Sugar (1 syn), Banana, LF Yogurt

L-Cous cous, Chickpeas, Salad, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Dressing (1 syn), Tbsp LF Hoummous (1.5 syns), Quorn Ham

D-Small WM Roll (HEB2), Quorn Sausages, Onions, Salad, SW Chips, Ketchup (1 syn)

S-Options (2 syns), Blueberries, Blackberries, Club Biscuit (5 syns)

=11.5 syns, although I may have some ice cream too as it's WI night!

Bit random, but I've started taking an Options sachet for the raffle at class. I think it's the kind of thing I'd like to see in there!

thank you so much bluefire - it was sooo yummy!!

Plan for today - another green one!
Breakfast - Boiled egg salad (2 eggs, sweetcorn, mixed peppers, lettuce) and kellog's fibre bar (1 x HEB)
Lunch - Large portion of tomato and vegetable soup (maybe seconds later) and a banana
Dinner - carrot and onion soup

Undecided on snacks - 1 x HEA on milk for cups of tea and coffee, maybe a glass of red after dinner tonight?

Does that look okay? I've gone off the boil somewhat and need guidance. Definitely think it's maybe time to rejoin group but I left as there was 70 odd people at group and it took an age to get through everyone's weigh in!!! x

P.S I should note that i don't normally eat that much soup, just got looooads of veg to use up before payday on Friday!!

thanks for everyones replies! i'll start eating a bit more! i'm doing a green day today.

Breakfast: 2 slices toast (HEB) butter (3syns) apple

    Dinner: Savoury Rice

Tea: Jacket Potato, Beans & Cheese (HEA)

Other HEA is milk in tea and not sure other HEB, maybe some bacon with jacket potato.

I have some mango and strawberrys to snack and I am going to go and get some bananas and grapes at lunch. I've also got a special K bar (4 syns)

    Does that sound better?

    Thanks

p.s can i use cheese as HEB on red/green days?
:D Much better! I don't know about red days as I don't do them and can't see cheese listed as a B option in the book for red but you definitely can for green as I do that with blue cheese crumbled over my salad, veggies or chilli at dinner time. Mmmm blue cheese :p

I know the wii wouldn't be as much of a workout as the gym etc but can't afford gym at mo and can't do heavy workouts now as my back problem got worse after last bubba. But thinking ANY exercise at the mo would help. Walk the dogs but not as much as I should as to many people walk theirs without leads round here and my doggies were attacked twice last year :( (So annoying as mine were both on leads at the time!)

Our consultant said last night that Tescos are selling Frozen Quorn Sausages for less than a pound. I'm sending hubby on his way home from work to have a look... I found a spicy bean and quorn sausage casserole recipe I'd like to try

In group yesterday we discussed a soup that is extremely easy and costs pennies for all you MSE!!! They also said another group used it - had it everyday for a week and all lost 3-5lbs that week! Here it is:

Tin of baked beans (tesco value = 44p)
    2 x tins of chopped tomatoes (tesco value = 35p each = 70p)
Tin of carrots (tesco value = 18p)
Pickled onion (jar of tesco value = 31p (i used 5 as they were small))

Cook all in pan and blitz! Simple! Tastes pretty good too!
Thanks so much for this recipe; I was at a loose end for lunch today so decided to make it & it's really quite lovely! Here's hoping I lose 3-5lb next week :D
