2lb off today, quite chuffed with that. I'm exactly 3 stone off target now, so onwards & downwards! 3 1/2lb to go until my 2 stone awards, which I'd like to get before I head off to Glastonbury so I've got 3 weeks or so. Fingers crossed!Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00

I'm really struggling. I only have 4 and a half pounds to go but have only lost 2 and a half pounds in the last 2 months, despite sticking rigidly to the diet.
I am running loads, so am burning loads of calories and it's making me feel hungry all the time. All I can think about is food! And it's torture that my children and boyfriend can choose whatever they like when we eat out.
Sorry for the moan, but it is really getting me down at the moment.0 -
Good Afternoon everyone and thank you all for the lovely welcome
i have lost 2 and half pounds, so on the right road i feel. I have done lots of walking too, but i did have the Asda No Added Sugar 50% fruit high juice Florida Orange and diluted it with water yest and everyone told me its high syns :eek::mad: thought as it said only 6kcal per 100ml diluted was low calorie
couldnt find info in the books today but what do others have that is low calorie to drink and dilute, just wanted something else than water yesterday please
reflecting back, from what i heard at class today going to change my lunch and dinner around, so going to have a good breakfast around 8 oclock then around 2pm will have my dinner and then i can have my lunch around 6 and then have some free fruit or free mullerlight in the eve, going to try this tactic on Extra Easy this week.
anyway will take time out later today to read through this thread and try and pick up further tips
good luck and keep positive all, cheers mazSealed Pot Challenge member 1525

Hi everyone - hi newbies
Well done on all the fabby losses so far this week.
I am SO proud of myself today. Had to go into town get some bits for dd's uniforms and OH wanted brekkie in McDonalds. He has sozzie & egg McMuffin brekkie and half the donut that our little one wanted (and never ate) I had an Oatso Simple with a sweetner sachet sprinkled in and a fruit bag and coffee. Didn't even miss the McMuffin meal - the whole place smelt really greasy and my porridge and fruit was nommy. How do I syn the Oatso though does anyone know. Conflicting stuff on Minimins. Someone says on an old post they used to work at Maccy D's and the oatso is just the normal sachets you buy in a shop so can be counted as a HExB someone else said to put it down as 2 HExB's. I think it was def more than 28g as I do have normal porridge oats as my breakfast anyway and it was def more than that. Does anyone here know?
Munchings for yesterday:
Both HExA's = Milk for tea/coffee/cereals throughout the day
Breakfast~
Porridge (HExB)
Warm milk
Chopped banana
Pear and mango Irish yogurt
Cup of tea
Lunch~
Wholemeal pitta (HExB2)
Extra light Laughing cow triangle (1syn)
Smoked ham style Quorn
Tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, pickled onions
Apple
Diet coke
Snack~
2 Softmints (1syn)
Half a banana
Apricot and nectarine Irish yogurt
Dinner~
Quorn Peppered steak and a Vegetarian burger (1syn)
14g blue cheese (2.5syn)
Herby potatoes
Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber
Cup of tea
Syn total: 5.5:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0 -
I'm so hungry all the time!
Today i've had: (Red day)
Breakfast:2 slices bacon and scrambled egg (1 egg) Milk HEA
Snack: Cookie (3.5)
Snack:1/2 Banana (other half was too brown for my liking)
Dinner: 2 slices of ham and a bowl of strawberries & mango
Snack: Apple & Freddie (5)
Drinks: 2 Cups of tea, 2 glasses of water
Having spag bol for tea with pasta as HEB and cheese other HEA there will be a couple of syns with tom puree and then I will be left with a second HEB which I might double my pasta of have weetabix and yogurt.
Going to have some more mango now to snack and have a free yogurt which i might have.
Do you think i'm eating too much??0 -

Just a thought what I would do
Look up McDs webby - the nutritional info says it's 195 calories..... Mysupermarket says it's 98cals per 27g .
I would then say you would be right to guess the portion size is around double a "normal" portion so two HEBs. Or Syn one as 6 syns, and use the other as HEB? Hope that helps.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

yorkshire laura - from the sounds of your menu i think you are eating enough (possibly not enough!) I eat alot more than that!
Today will be green
B - Muller
S - 4 x Quorn Sausages
D - Pasta with courgettes, asparagas, baked beans, broccoli, cauliflower, aubergine, carrots, onions, garlic, chopped toms, peppers ... i think that was all the veg!
S - FF Activia, Alpen light x 1 (1/2 Heb)
T - Either more of pasta as lunch or something else! - Might make my soup & have with 5 x scan bran (Heb)
S - 1/2 Alpen Light Cheesecake (1/2 Heb) - Onken FF Vanilla Yog
Hea has been milk in coffee - might have other Hea for cheese on scan bran!!!
Will prob have small choco bar tonight - if i feel up to it - trying to keep to very low syns this week because going out on saturday night
Anyone know the syn values for anything off a hungry horse pub menu? e.g. chips lol
Might just have that meal 'off'!!!0
