    That's fab, well done :j.

I don't fancy anything for breakfast today. I think I need something savoury so may have to go and get a small wholemeal loaf so I can have a quorn sausage sandwich in a bit.

  • Hi everyone and well done to all the losers:j and those of you who are managing to stick with it and not give in to temptation. I am doing rubbish at the moment:o - I am sooooo annoyed with myself for getting to another summer this fat! Anyway I am trying not to continue with my little pity-party and to make this week a good one! I weighed myself this morning and I haven't gained so I have just got to make a determined effort. A while ago I asked my Doctor about weight loss surgery and tomorrow I have got an appointment with a surgeon and his anaesthetist to discuss it. I know they will say I need a gastric bypass but I will NOT have one - I am thinking that I might have a gastric band but even the thought of that terrifies me. I saw that chap on GMTV last week who had lost 12 stone in 10months with SW so I know it can be done!

Haven't done any kind of meal plan for the week but today I am having weetabix for breakfast (heb), tuna and salad for lunch and meditteranean turkey for tea (recipe from one of the SW recipe books). Snacks will be fruit and Mullerlights.

Hope you all have a great day!

Hi guys, I'm stuck today! I have stuff in the fridge but don't fancy any of it!

Normally I don't meal plan, and when I get hungry I just open the fridge and see what's there - or I grab a ready meal from the freezer, or I nip out to the shop.

On SW I stock the fridge up with the right things and try to plan my day so that I eat regularly and the right things to stay on plan.

I know that is a healthier way to live. But am I the only person who doesn't like having to think about food all the time? It seems like food planning is taking over my life!!

    Sorry for the moan :(

  • I'm so disappointed today - I weighed in after my first week on the diet and I've only lost 1lb :(

I thought I was doing ok, it's my * week so maybe that's had an effect on it, I don't know??

I had a bit of a splurge yesterday cos we were at a friends all day for a bbq, but I'd stuck to it 100% for the rest of the week.

I feel like giving up but I can't I really need to lose weight.......gotta pick myself up and carry on

1lb is still a good loss, mrsiwannabefree! If it * week then I think you can probably expect a bigger loss next week. Also, what kind of things did you splurge on yesterday? It might be that the splurge is making you retain water, so again this will show as a loss next week.

I'm having a quorn sausage bap for my brekky with grilled tomatoes...nom, nom!

I had chicken with salad, a buttered roll, some potato salad which I made with mayo extra light and 2 big glasses of pimms - so although I say splurge I wasn't eating rubbish all day lol

You're right of course I should be pleased as it's still a loss, think I need to look at this positively instead of being negative and get on with it!
