Quick question about EE
Do you have to have 1/3 super free on ALL meals throughout the day? I was thinking more of breakfast, I have HEB's for my breakfast so am I suupposed to have superfree with it or as its a HE do I need to bother? Will confess to never having any superfree with breakfast anyway but just wondered if I should have been
. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

My consultant said to have grilled tomatoes/mushrooms or fruit with breakfast to make up the one third superfree.
But if you have a mid morning snack of fruit, that would balance it out anyway, I would think? Having said that, don't take any notice of me - I'm still learning!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

im the same, i love nuts but my weakness is the Penn State sweet & Spicy Pretzels, I get cravings for them. But ive also had the habit of hiding the evidence or not confessing and I actually start to believe it myself.
tee hee I found a M**s B** wrapper under a cupboard the other day and I HONESTLY cannot remember eating one, and there's only me here, and the cats.
(I didn't write out the full name because I don't know about anyone else but if someone mentions something really tasty and sinful I want it - the girl next to me at SW last week said f*sh and ch**s and got me really hungry; it's not fair and should be banned
- and don't tell me I can have SW f*sh and ch**s because they are nothing like the real thing
. Just wait till August when this second stone will be gone, I'll be down the chippy like a bat out of hell :rotfl:) :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Well done Ali, this is the kind of temptation that is so hard to resist, I think - easy to just go 'Oh Sod it!', eat some pizza and then spend the next day regretting it, I hope you are now feeling very happy with how you dealt with it, I really admire you for that.aliscrapper wrote: »Well done Vickie!:T
I'm pretty chuffed with myself. Yesterday I went to an all day crafting event and the lady opposite me and her husband sat and eat a pizza
and pizza is the one food I struggle to go without and I sat there and eat my Quorn Sausage sandwich and pineapple! I rewarded myself last night with a little Milky Way which I checked on the SW website and was only 5 syns!:D0 -

Hiya TakeItEazy. I have my HE porridge for breakfast and I chop a banana into it and count that as my 3rd a plate. I do try and do a third for every meal because the one week I didn't (convinced myself that if there was enough veggies IN the meal, like chilli etc I didn't need it on the side as well) I lost half a pound instead of what had been between 2-4lb a week. I put it down to that but I am probably wrong - gone back to still doing at least a third though usually it's a half my plate of superfree food
Thanks for your lovely message on my blog too.
Sorry been MIA stuff going on at home. Been 100% brilliant and focused this week though. Discovered some lovely stuffed peppers in the vegetarian section of Icelands for £1. Absolutely yum and just 2.5 syns for the box on all the plans. I grated 15g of cheese over them before I cooked them, tasted so naughty!
Also Ali - the sweet and sour tesco lighter choices sauce or whatever it's called is on offer at the mo. 2 jars for £1.50 and just 7 syns for the whole jar. I made up a huge sweet and sour and have seperated it into 3 meals for just 2.5 syns (roughly) each. Quite yummy too.
yesterdays food was:
Both HExA's = Milk for tea/coffee/cereals throughout the day
Breakfast~
Porridge (HExB)
Warm milk
Chopped banana
Cup of tea
Strawberry Irish yogurt
Snack~
1 softmint (.5syn)
Lunch~
Sarnie made of:
2 slices wholemeal bread (HExB2 and 4syns)
Extra light laughing cow triangle (1syn)
Smoked ham style Quorn
lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber
Fruits of the forest Irish yogurt
Diet Pepsi
Snack~
Pineapple wedge
Dinner~
Sweet and sour Quorn stirfry with egg noodles (2.5syns)
Rocket, tomatoes, cucumber
Diet pepsi
Syns Total = 8

My consultant said that you can think of it in terms of your food throughout the day and aim for a third of that to be superfree. This works well for me, as I will often have fruit as a snack. Like you, if I use a HEB for brekky (like oats or cereal) I often don't want fruit with it, although I will then have an apple or banana at 11am-ish.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
