No - they're pasta in a yummy sauce. Bit like pot noodles but far nicer!:D0 -

Thanks - will look to see whether we have a local store. Sounds like they really know their trade!:D0 -

Do they have a Deli? Could get some cold meats off there and have with a salad or get some ryvita's and free Very Low Fat Cottage cheese if you havent had your HEb - 4 Dark Rye are 1 HEb choice or they are 1.5 syns each. Another thing I like is Seafood Sticks with salad.
Umm, what about if they have a hot chicken counter getting a cooked chicken drumstick and taking the skin off and having that with something?
Cant think of anything else at the moment!! x
Oops yes sorry should have said (new to this!) i'm on a green day today0 -

But today is another day, I am much more prepared and am just about to go to the shop and fill up with basics (which I will normally do on Tuesday straight after class).
So any suggestions for low syn evening munchies will be really welcome!
Thanks!

I try to save a HEB for the evening, that way I can have either a Fibre Plus Bar or 4 x Ryvita with a Tbsp Hummous (2.5 syns) guilt free. I also made strawberries dipped in 3 syns worth of chocolate the other evening and they felt like a real treat!mrsiwannabefree wrote: »I'm having a lunch dilema today......got up too late to make lunch and the nearest place to the office is Sainsburys......any ideas on what I could get as I'm really not in the mood just for a plain salad today!
Thanks
Ryvita and FF cottage cheese is always my favourite. You could have that with a cup a soup or Mug Shot and a banana.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

I always have some in my cupboard for the same reason!:rotfl: Also handy when you find your going somewhere you didn't expect to - so easy to throw in your bag!:D All you need is a kettle!:D0 -
Hi!
Another newbie here.
I first did SW years ago and lost a lot of weight. Over the years comfort eating and pregnancy got the better of me and I went up to a size 24.
For the last year I have been on WW and have lost 4stone but since Christmas have been messing around losing and gaining the same 7lb. I still need to lose 6stone:( Would you mind if I join in as I really can't afford meetings at the moment and this might keep me on the straight and narrow.
Thought I might give SW another try as I ended up using all my WW points on naughties:o
Day one today, my cupboards and fridge are bulging as I did a massive shop yesterday:D
Just wanted to say also about a homemade cheesecake recipe I have seen online today. Using 2 alpen light bars as a base and quark, mullerlight
and a tiny bit of sweetner as the topping. Sounds lovely, has anyone tried it?Good Enough Club member number 20 -

(1) try to take your mind off it by keeping hands busy, eg knitting, needlework, if that's your thing, it really does work!,
(2) use your healthy extra B as that is quite filling, eg mine would be a packet of Ryvita minis, eaten slowly, and have a drink too to swell it up inside you
(3)have some nice fruit or a yoghurt
(4) a hot drink of Marmite or Bovril, if you like that stuff, feels like a meal even though it's free
good luck:T:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Thanks for the ideas for evening snacks!
I have decided to have an original day today as I got confused with the EE yesterday (doesn't take much!). So, what I am going to do is have an original day but still do the one third SS veggies rule. That gives me 2 HB's to have in the evening, when I feel the need for something extra to keep me going.
I've chosen original because my normal diet is more like a green day, so that gives me crab sticks to munch on, and also ham rolls filled with in the evening too.
Yesterday I made a huge pot of green lentil casserole, and also some spicy pumpkin soup (both free on all days and very yummy the next day after the flavours have blended) so I will have some later and freeze the rest.
I skipped breakfast (yes I know) but had a large bowl of tuna mixed with lots of celery, tomato, around 11am. That will keep me going for ages.
Just off to the shop to stock up.....
BTW the mug shots sound lovely - I'm assuming they are only free on green and EE, but not original?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

I have raging PMT!

l: grapefruit. Baked potato with 2 LC ex lite & quorn bolognaise. Broccoli
sn: ff plain yogurt. 4LC ex lite, apple & carrot sticksroasted veg with wholegrain rice & maybe a quorn peppered steak

Am I the only person who thinks mug shots are vile?!
