    Chicken Tikka Masala {it says original 1/2 a syn not sure if anything has changed from it}

1, chop the chicken. mix half the tikka powder with the yogurt. season well, pour over the chicken and set aside.

2, grate the onion crush the garlic deseed and chop the chilli and chop the coriander. spray a pan with fry light and fry the onion for 5-6 mins. add the garlic, chilli, ginger and remaining tikka powder and fry for 2-3mins. stir in the tomato puree, sweetner and 25ml water and bring to the boil. reduce the heat, add the fromage frais and simmer for 12-15minns stirring often.

Hi can anyone help me please?

I joined SW yesterday but the consultant didn't give me the password (or if it was posted up somewhere I didn't notice it).

I texted him as soon as I got home but he hasn't replied.

How do I go about getting the password so I can go online?

    Many thanks

    Daisy

we are not allowed to give out the password I'm afraid.

Last weeks still works though, cos I didn't get to class this week.

    SW essentials for me:

Ryvita, Ryvita fruit crunch, FF yogurts, ff cottage cheese, jacket potatoes, bakes beans, Catherderal City lower fat cheese, laughing cow extra light, fruits, salads, vegetables. I also like quorn products.

Make meals from scratch, which I'm sure you do if you are on a small budget.

    Todays food diary

B: 2 quorn sausages, 2 sml slices wholemeal bread, 2 teaspoons tomato sauce (Heb & 1 syn)
    Snack: FF plain yogurt
L: baked potato with 2 laughing cow extra light, beans & salad (2 syns)
snack: apple slices, carrot batons & ff cottage cheese
D: quorn bolognaise & wholemeal pasta & 42g lf cheddar (HEa)
snack: 2 ryvita fruit crunch. (HEb)

Thanks, but last week's password doesn't help me as I only joined yesterday.

The consultant still hasn't replied to my text, so I have just phoned him but his voicemail is switched off so I couldn't leave a message. So much for 'contact me any time I am always here for you'....

I appreciate he has a life, but it is a simple question from a new member - and if he had told me the password when I joined, I wouldn't be trying to contact him.

It isn't a big deal, I'll just have to wait until I go to next week's meeting.

    Daisy

Edit: just to say a friend has given me the password, so I am up and running now!

Thanks... you know who you are :-)

    Morning peeps:wave:

Had WI last night and STS. Am actually quite happy with that as clothes felt a bit tighter yesterday:eek: which I'm hoping is just water retention or something as the jeans I wore felt grand at the weekend. It was nearly a 0.5lb loss as the scales hovered, why when they do that do they never go in my favour:rotfl:

Plan to do some exercise this week, so the wii fit will be dusted off this evening and may treat myself to a new game as well:D Think I'm having a green day today but not sure of menu so will post todays meal plan up later when I've had a think.x

  • hello all!

i have been lurking on here for a while. ive been follwing slimming world by myself since about september 2009 and so far have lost 38lbs. i find the plan really easy to get on with, im a student and LOVE to cook (so supplement my MASSIVE apetite(Sp))
basically, recently my weight loss has really really slowed. for example, this week i have come in around 13 syns aday follwing green and red days (mainly green as i find this cheaper to follow) and has lost no weight.
soem times is quite sporadic, ie. when we've gone out, drank alot and maybe even had a sneaky portion of chips on the way home ive lost!! it doesnt make any sense!!

my theory is at, as i look over my food diary, i have generally been having both my HEB as toast over the day. do you think i should limit toast to only one HEB?
i make sure i measure my HEA, which are usually cheese as i hardly drink milk.
my syns are generally specificthings rather than additions to cooking like sauces, tomato ketchup, mayo etc.. (ie. things like a solero icecream (5) option hot choc (2) Meatfree products, curly wurly (6.5) etc..)

you guys seem to like ryvita fruit cruch, are 2 a HEB? i like the idea of haveing 2 of those later on instead of toast.

any help would be wonderful. thankyou!
your all doing so well, and you really discuss all the issues i miss at classes!

    thankyou again
    rosieposie xx
shift the bulge! - 54lb lost so far :j .....alot more to go......

Dinner- Pasta, cucumber, sweetcorn, salad tomatoes, onion, 28g feta cheese( 3.5 syns) 1tbsp Salad cream (2.5 syns) (I made a big batch today that will last for 3 days so the syns will only really be 1/3= 2syns/day)

  • Hi everyone

Thank you so much for all your tips, am going to try out some of your recipes before i start next week, as i am trying to convince my DH to join too, but hes not too keen on the one lettuce leaf and a sniff of tomatoe type diets which he thinks he will have to do, so he says he will join if i can convince him (im also looking forward to tasting some of the things on here). Congratulations eeryone on their weight losses.

    Kind Regards

    Deb x
