I use Morrisons Eat Smart thick sausages from the chiller - 1/2 a syn each & quite tasty. Our local butcher does 'syn free' ones but they're not very nice in my opinion!
Right... I'm about to go & make hobknobs for the OH's lunchboxes. We're in the unfortunate situation now where I need to lose weight & he needs to gain it! Can anyone lend me some willpower?Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00 -

I really don't like sausagesam I the only one (ok I don't like ice cream or carrots either, so probably just weird)
Nessie216: half a pound is half a pound - see the pic alongside my name? that's half a pound of fat on the scales. It's a good handful. Better off than on, as you say. WI for me in 2.5 hrs.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Good luck blackberry-rum and everyone else who still needs to WI
I know its still quite alot, but i stuck to it 100% and its just a little disappointing when that is all i get when standing on the scales!
But it has given me a kick up the back side to concentrate on it more and eat more fruit & veg! So it is a blessing in disguise!
~daisy~ i eat quorn sausages - i would rather have my syns for chocolate or 'naughty' bits! Sausages don't worry me! I used to have the tesco meatfree when they were free but i think they have syns now which i don't think it is worth it - but they are better than quorn because of the texture!0 -
Hi Daisy
I like the tesco finest Venison sausages, there 1 syn each on red and ee and there georgous, really meaty. not to be confused with the venison and pork ones that about 5 syns xMarch 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -

LOL... hi! Another Daisy here!
I have just come back from my first WI (joined today). Am an ex SW member, so know the ropes generally, but am keen to try EE.
Actually the WI was a nice surprise as I weighed half pound under my normal weight - and that was with my clothes on (normally weigh at home in the buff). So that's given me some motivation to keep going.
But I am determined to stay off the scales now (I am OCD with scaled when I am trying to lose weight)
I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
