    Debt-free and Proud!
Another pound off tonight, taking me to Club 10! The weight would probably be shifting a lot faster if I were sticking to plan 100%, but at the moment I'm happy to be plodding along at my own pace with a few hiccups here and there.

  • D-Day has arrived!!

I'm going to give EE a try so my food plan for today is:

    B - 350ml skimmed milk (hea), 2 weetabix (heb)
L - Salad (lettuces, cherry toms, red pepper) and ham
D - Pasta, prawns, mushrooms, cherry toms, garlic, chilli

Snacks - so far just a banana, but have clementines, an apple and more cherry tomatoes (love 'em!)

Syns - none so far but will have some later on this evening and update tomorrow with any changes

Stuck to the diet 100% yesterday :A syns I used were:
    Low fat italian dressing 2
    Tomato puree 1
    Walkers crisps 6.5
    So 9.5 syns in all

I even did a quick exercise session - only 15 minutes but that's more than I've done for a long time!! Will try to do something for at least 15 minutes every day and gradually build it up over time.

Good luck to everyone today for weigh ins and sticking to their diets :rotfl:

    Hi,

Don't beat yourself up - everyone has a day like that now and then. Hopefully you'll wake up this morning and all things will seem possible again. I's a bright morning here and that always helps me :)

Ok vietnamese chicken is . . . . put skinless chicken pieces (or whole chicken) into a slow cooker. Mix together 1.5 tbsp of soy sauce, 1.5 tbsp of fish sauce, 2tsp sweetener and 4 crushed garlic cloves. Pour mixture over chicken and cook on low for 8 hours. I guess you could do it on low in the oven too?????? The chicken is gorgeous and tender and the sauce is yummy. There will be some fat in the sauce if you have de-skinned your own meat so just let the sauce cool and then remove :p I have it with cous cous, rice etc.

Have a sunny Tuesday everyone :)

Can anyone find a Syn value for Mapletons Fru-Grains????

I got hooked on buying them from Holland & Barrett when I found them there while looking for Scan Bran.

They are 41% dried fruit (not to mention molasses and nuts) so I am sure they will have a HIGH Syn value, but I cannot find them anywhere.

    And I LURVE 'em!!

    Can anyone help me please?

I googled them and they appear to be made by "The Good Carb Food Company" but the syn on-line did not recognise "Mapletons Fru-Grains":( Have you got the nutritional info?? Forgot to say have they got anything in them which would be free food?? As the syn calculator on the Slimming World website asks you this first.
