That T-mobile £25 for 18 months seems to be one of the best offers around. I've just cancelled my Vodafone upgrade and gone for that instead. The quidco+redmpetion will cover the cost of buying out my last 2 months with voda.
If it is not from T-Mobile direct remember to phone up and aim to get the free internet and 3GB allowance as well as another booster. That way you can add unlimited texts or landlines.
I went with a slightly cheaper deal- 18 months, 100 mobile mins, 100 texts unlimited internet and landlines for £20/month.0 -

So...
When I get the t-mobile deal from a reseller I need to phone them and get them to activate the 3 gig allowance... and at no extra cost I can also get unlimited landlines - am I understanding you correctly ?

Yeah pretty much. Unless it is from T-Mobile it rarely if ever seems to be set up that way. I contacted them, fought the menu system and got a UK guy, read the line on the website about android phones and he happily made the changes giving me a confirmation text! :T
By way of confirmation- I'm not being charged for data since and landline calls are not coming off my allowance on my T-Mobile any more so it seems promising! The guy said that with the 3GB free allowance you no longer need the 'internet booster' to get 1GB unlimited internet, so you can change the booster to any one of the others. He asked if I'd had a look at them and what one I had in mind and I said landlines was what I needed to ensure I kept within 100mins, but there are others like Euro ones. It took 10 mins but well worth it and others on digital spy and av forums have done the same.yaddayadda wrote: »Is the limit detailed on your account settings or somewhere?
T-Mobile told me I had a 3GB limit when it was amended. I don't think the limit is shown on the website. It is also possible according to some to tell from speed tests too, but not sure on that one.0 -
Thanks for taking the time to get back to me flyingscotno1.

I bought my Desire from mobiles.co.uk last week, and when I spoke to the T-Mobile Twitter support team, they said allowance was 1GB for contracts not bought directly from them.
My line also appears to be throttled, I get 220kbit/s whereas my G1 is getting 450kbit/s.0 -

I suggest the left hand doesn't know the right is doing. Like I said the guy at the call centre just did it when I mentioned 3GB, Android and where I bought it from. No pushing or prompting- it was too easy I questioned it all!0 -
Just got this through the door, .don't know if it has been posted before and I know that it can be got cheaper through cashback deals etc but i dont like the risk of not getting it
HTC Desire
600 min
3000 texts
Unlimited mobile email & internet
sat nav with Orange maps
50 photo messages
and magic numbers
£27.50 per month on Orange from Phones4u (also £35 cashback if you remember !!!)0 -
I am still waiting for that ultimate deal for the HTC Desire! :money:
The problem I have is that I really like the black version of the HTC Desire more so than the brown/graphite/(that sometimes looks purple!), however the black is exclusive to Orange I believe.
Any good deals at the moment for a low use say 100 mins/texts with unlimited internet? I may have to compromise on the colour if the graphite is much cheaper. :P0 -
Anyone know how long Beepy cashback takes to track through Quidco? Starting to worry about my £40...0
