i did a search through moneysupermarket.com and clicked through to affordablemobiles.co.uk to this:
http://www.affordablemobiles.co.uk/basket.html?cdid=1730&source=webgains&source=webgains&siteid=22087
It is a HTC desire
Pay Monthly £20 on T-moblile
Unlimited Mobile Internet
24 Months
300 minutes
300 texts
There is a cashback but the £20/month appears to be without the cashback (the cashback just makes it cheaper).
Now I'm not interested in doing the cashback just the baseline deal. I've read bad things about affordable mobiles regarding cashback, but what's the catch with this deal without it?:A :A :A :A

The fact that it is a 24 month sentence, sorry contract is the biggest catch.
Imagine for 10 minutes 24 months in jail and then smash your mouse before you click on "I agree" or snap your pen in half.
Also "unlimited internet". I would check that one out too. Unlimited means "limitless" apparently!0 -
free phone aswell? does sound too good to be true
on the other hand the hd version is coming out in the next week or so so maybe all desire prices are finally coming downWhat goes around-comes around0 -
Yes that might be it. Although I'm slightly suspicious since a search purely on their website doesn't bring up this deal - only if done through moneysupermarket.com.:A :A :A :A

I'm also looking for a HTC Desire and have found it for around £20 a month for 300 minutes, 300 texts and "unlimited" internet. The deal is with T-Mobile but after a couple of phone calls I've found that they charges 12p per minute for voice mail and this isn't included in the bundle which is a bit naughty.0

I rang T mobile direct on Friday and asked for their best deal on the Desire. Was offered 600 mins / loads of texts (I rarely use them!) / 3gb internet plus unlimited landline booster for £25 pm over 24 m = £600.
Got the phone Saturday and it's chuffing brilliant!
Well pleased.Uh?0 -
Was this retentions or a new contract?0

Or £270 for that lot over two years.

I am after a deal on the Desire (standard). Basically very light user. Just want the phone odd call/txt, some browsing; really just to keep up with technology. Don’t want the new HD as it is too big.
Best I've found was on mobiles.co.uk (not great reviews)
T-mobile
18-mth
600min
500txt
Ulmt data (FUP applicable)
Free phone
£30/mth
11mths half-price (redemption)
Good thing about mobiles.co.uk is that phone comes unlocked and unbranded.
It seems that T-Mobile charges 12p for voicemail calls and it is not included in the bundle.
I’m on Virgin PAYG at the moment. Ideally I’d like to go O2 to keep discount on my broadband package, but can go any network really.
SIMfree is also an option.
Help is much appreciated0
