Deleted post. Long and not directly related to latest HTC Desire deals. Started a new thread in main forum. Sorry peeps!

  • If your looking at going the sim only route I just got this from T-Mobile:
    600 mins
    500 text
    Unlimited landline
3gb internet (web and walk plus)
    12 month contract
    £10 a month!

Just ring them and quote the current tesco £10 sim only deal and they'll offer you this.
  • I've just tried T Mobile for this one and they tell me it doesn't exist. Any tips please?
  • Both me and the husband were going to leave Vodafone, but after them and hubs doing some wrangling, we're staying having got the Desire for nothing on a £20pcm contract giving us 300 anytime minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB internet.
Was certainly better than anything else we could see elsewhere and we're stuck with either Orange or VF as they're really the only providers who have coverage in the places we visit.

You should be able to get the 1Gb (Hard limit) data allowance for Android devices with Vodafone.

I've seen this deal at affordablemobiles.co.uk/contract-mobile-phones/t-mobile/mrc-pound20/htc/desire/12953649.html

    FREE HTC Desire Black
    300 mins
    300 texts
Unlimited internet (probably 1Gb fair usage)
£20 per month (£19.17 with cashback)

Now after reading this (and other threads) I'm aware of the rather flaky reputation affordablemobiles has when it comes to cashback but I'm not too concerned about that as the cashback isnt for a large amount (obviously I'll still try to claim it). What I'm more concerned about is the contract itself. If I had problems with the contract/bills who would I contact? Im assuming it would be T-mobile but as this will be my first ever mobile contract so Im unsure how it works.

There are similar deals also at:

    intomobilephones.co.uk/HTC-Desire-offer_2135495.php
    buymobilephones.net/mobile-phones/HTC/HTC-Desire/T-Mobile/T-Mobile-20-(24mths)/3962139
    mobiles.co.uk/t-mobile-htc-desire-clearance.html

Id be grateful for any help on this, thank you!

    Quote the current Tesco deal:
    500 mins
    Unlimited texts
    Unlimited internet (500mb)

This is on instore tescos until 10th October as soon as I mentioned it to T-mobile they offered me that £10 deal :)

Not sure if this will be of interest, but I have just signed up to the following deal with Orange through Mobile.co.uk

Free HTC Desire, unlocked and no branding bloatware
24 mths, 300 mins, unlimited texts, and 500mb data
    £25pm line rental (24x25=£600)
9 months free by redemption (£225)
    £50 cashback from Quidco

Equivalent line rental of £13.54 ((600-225-50)/24)

No initial outlay and data sufficient for me as I use a lot of wifi.

Deal was for a clearance model, but my phone is as good as new.

I was wary of the cashback element, but having read many posts on here I will be following the terms very closely to make sure I get it right.
