called t-mobile retentions today and they still won't budge on the price. Only offer I got was £1 off the £20 Wildfire contract, did get my current tarrif reduced to £10 though in the meantime
  • Am down to my final 90 days with Orange.

    Here's what I've been offered.
Currently on 200mins plus unlimited texts for £13.50 a month.

Got offerend 200mins plus unlimed texts plus 500mb internet for £13.50 a month (24 month contract),
    £100 for HTC desire
    or £150 for Samsung Galaxy.

The lady said she wasn't able to increase my montly allowance to make the phone free. Do you think this is a good deal? Essentially, this was my best and only deal. Rung again 6 hrs later and got through to the same women... again she said best she could do!

    Thanks

Apparently people are getting the handset via TCB and will change tariff on 9th month making the handset price £275. Basically it is good if you already have a contract with DATA allowance, therefore just "getting" the phone.
In my case I am on PAYG and I am considering getting the phone and also a simplicity SIM with DATA, "giving" the 100min/text contract to the OH.

    Hi

I asked for PAC code from Vodafone lastweek. Today had a phone call and they are giving me HTC free on 18 months contract

    600 mins
    unlimited txt
    Unlimited internet (FUP 500mb)

But have to wait for a message when I can pick up the phone from Vodafone Store

yeah i read all this. its not a good deal. you still have to pay the other contract or PayG as well as the Desire contract. You may as well buy the phone outright for 320 and not pay it off for 18 months therefore allowing u to get another new phone sooner and not worry about a contract and mark on your credit history. If your paying £20 a month Plus what ever for payg or another contract you are talking £30 a month.

    24month upgrade deal on 3.
free htc desire, 500mins, unltd texts, 1gb internet and the usual stuff from 3 (skype, 3 to 3 stuff etc..) for £20/ month. does that sound like a good enough deal?
