Has anybody ordered from mobilephonesdirect and gone for the t-mobile 18 month free phone £25 per month 300mins unltd txt but no mention of internet.
Do you then ring t-mobile and get the 3gb internet added for free.

Or has it now gone up to £30 per month for 300mins unltd txts and (it mentions) unltd net.

Hey, I went for that above, and what you do is ask to change your unltd text booster to unltd internet booster at time of ordering either over the phone, or I ordered on line and e-mail them later to ask them to change it over on my order, which I had the e-mail confirmation back saying they had done it for me.

Then you have 300 mins, 300 txt and unltd internet on that contract, then phone up t-mobile and try to change it over. The £30 is for the free booster as standard and a 2nd booster for £5, but I did not need the unlimited txt so opted for the free booster only for the internet. Hope this helps.

    Hi...

I phoned Vodafone this morning but got cut off.

Phoned back an hour later and spoke to upgrades.

She said they have a new computer system that became live today, and the deal I wanted she couldn't do but then said her manger would phone back.

    I didn't hold my breath.

But, miracles of miracles, I did get a call from her manger 20 minutes later and got almost all of what I wanted.

Free HTC Desire, 250 mins & Stop the Clock, 100 texts, and 500 MB internet @ £25 a month over 18 months inc free delivery.

I wanted 1GB but she couldn't authorise that. I could of requested my PAC and chanced my arm further down the line but basically, 'cos the handsets are in stock, I agreed to the deal.

Also wangled a free car charger.

Now that t-mobile have changed there T&C's regarding mobile internet I thought life would be easier sticking with Vodafone.

    M.

A month and a half waiting on beepy before going with mobilephonesdirect a couple of weeks ago and an email came from mobilephonesdirect today. I thought at first that the phone was being sent out early. Instead T-Mobile say I failed the credit check

I've never had bad credit! Only debt I have is my student loan which I pay on time (and would pay more if their system wasn't a complete joke).

Rang them up and they directed me to equifax for a credit report. Filled in my details, error, try again, filled in details, another error....

Tried experian, now have to wait on my pin.

Think I'm going to go for a £30 Nokia.

(Mobilephonesdirect have had some delightful customer service though, very friendly and eager to help. Just imagine the complete opposite of Virgin Media)
