Guys, have not read all the threads however MS Office Beta is available free, yes all the fully functional office suite for free and legal, just need to download from MS website or lookout for MS mirrors offer the beta download. And you can tell all your friends you have first..
:j
I suppose MS would like you to send back feedback or anything that does work ie) bugs etc..
Anyway Njoy
PS - Will take a few hours to download because the file is so big, MS may stop the Beta and release new copies from time to time.0 -
As you put it
You haven't bothered to read the thread or you would have seen it is already in there
And you really ought to add it's time limited.

Thank you Bugeyed.
Can I ask a question please. I have recently bought a laptop for my 11 year old for her homework which has a trial of Microsoft Office home and student 2007. This is due to expire and I have been looking around for a full version when I saw this helpful thread. I have been able to register DD's school so qualify for the software4student site. My question is the site does not do microsoft office home and student but does either Standard or Professional plus. Are these much different from home and student and which do I go for as not much difference in price? Forgive my ignorance on this but do not want DD to find I have bought her something very different from home and student that she cannot use. She seems to need powerpoint for school work.
Any replies gratefully received.

Hi. Standard and Pro both give you powerpoint. Pro has Access, Publisher and Infopath as extras which for only £8 more probably makes more sense for a student. They don't push the home and student version because its no cheaper with this deal.
So my personal choice is the pro. On my blackberry at mo - so typing is awkward.Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Pass on your good fortune :A0 -
Hi guys
Good post - thanks.
Does anybody know about the terms of the 2 user license please?
Specifically - do the 2 users need to be in the same household or in the same family or even living in the same area?
Thanks0 -
You also get Ms Outlook (I think) which wasn't included in my Home and Student version. I used to love using Outlook in office 2000.0
