Sorry but I'm still confused, I only installed both my Microsoft Office 2007 this weekend, even though I bought it a few months back from Software4Student, it gives me the option to buy the MS Office 2010 upgrade, is it worth me purchasing or am I too late as I didn't instal before 30th September?
Thanks0 -

My guess, sadly, is that you'd be wasting your money as you didn't install by 30 September.
Anyone else have a view?0 -
I have been having real problems trying to purchase the upgrade as I cannot seem to see it anywhere when I log into my account.
I have had several email back and to software4students who have been most helpful. The last email said that the link would appear on my account on Friday but I still cannot see it.
I am hoping this wont mean I am going to lose out0 -
Just in case anyone's still watching this thread, I'll put a question which I'd very much appreciate some help with.
I've recently bought (from S4S) an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 for the wife's PC. She currently has Office 2007 on it (installed before 30 September 2010) and we have the Office 2010 disc from S4S to upgrade it.
However......................what's worrying me is that if I upgrade her PC from Vista to Windows 7 (it has to be a 'clean install'), we may find that she can only use Office 2007. Has anyone done this? Will the fact that 2007 was installed before 30 September be 'recognised' after the upgrade to Windows 7, despite the clean install?
Any help or advice appreciated.0 -
To answer my own question (above) in case it's of help to anyone else, I've now successfully upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, and was also able to install Office 2010. The whole process was pretty straightforward, but you do need to remember to back everything up with a clean install, of course.0

I finally succombed. Yes, I know its May 2011, but didn't feel a pressing urge till now.
I've ordered a hard copy for £39.89 delivered, which comes with 8 items of Free Learning Suite software, which I have downloaded from my account. A bargain, as never got on with Ms office 2007, although learned to live with! :beer:0 -
