So you are judging every working mother?

and generally its not an option because parents arent prepared to give up the flash cars and holidays
I don't think that's necessarily true. I am currently in the process of buying my first house with my OH. My salary would cover the mortgage payments and bills only. It would not enable us to eat, get to work, buy anything for the house, carry out any repairs, clothe ourselves, etc. etc. As for flash cars and holidays - well, we've never had either of these. Were we to have a child there is no way that either of us could give up work or realistically cut back on anything else.
I think there are some extremely smug and judgemental attitudes on this thread from people that clearly don't have a clue about the financial situation of others. Perhaps only the well-off or those on benefits should be allowed to have children?

There are places that make you think - However maybe that child has been a little **** all day. We do not have the other side of the equation. I do know when i looked round on behalf of a nursery - I was shocked at things I saw.

Smacks = No not ever. Shouting and singling out one child = Shoudlnt be done.

I dont work at a nursery and I know all my kids were very well looked after (my then best friends mum had a nursery-sorry; least I got told the truth straight; to drop an go; u make it worse if you stay.)

We all seen the scary movies about nurseries - they all arnt the same. Ask around and get word of mouth- much better than the adverts or council people.

No, I'm judging people who get up in the morning, pack their kids off to nursery, pick them up at 5 or 6, take them home then put them to bed an hour later - why have them and then let somebody else bring them up ????

I hope you children don't grow up so narrow minded and judgemental as you are.

What is right for you, isn't right for the next person. I loathe people like you who think they can judge people who do things differently. I don't judge mothers who don't work, it's each to his own.

It's very easy to be ignorant and to have such black and white views on things.
