Oh well - rant over! I cooked us an M&S tea and OH did some veg... Just wanted some treat food... Hoping to go for a walk shortly together - to help our relationship as well as our healthy eating plan...

Really trying to focus on the positive but struggling as I need more from OH now I have health problems and he is finding it hard to change and adapt at the pace that's now needed. To be fair to him he did one load of washing today without being asked and went and bought a hose pipe attachment so we could refill our little pond. He also nipped to work and got the passports so we can get them sorted out for the kids ready for our holiday... Need to get DS to a photo booth asap so we can send off the renewal forms. Intend to do it at the postoffice on Monday and hope that they come back quickly or that will be another source of stress.

I'm really trying hard to keep our house downstairs looking nice... Hoping to have a go at decluttering some kitchen drawer after so we can bin stuff we won't ever use and put some things in their proper place and then only keep in the kitchen what needs to be there....

Hi Saving. Have read back but must of missed it, where have you booked your holiday for? That'll be something nice to look forward to.
Sorrry to hear that the arm thing could possibly take that long to get sorted. Keep positive, it'll all come together. Hope they'll start to understand the situation at work as well. It affects you,so it'll affect your work and not much you can do about that. Keep strong.

    Hi BZ and Tirl

Scales didn't really show any difference but that may have been the naughty 110 calorie chocolate bar I ate as I went to bed. Still not sleeping new tablets not made any difference yet.

I got loads of decluttering done last night though. I bought a couple of drawer organisers from ikea - so I took out the ones that were already in there and brought them into the lounge so I could sit down. Sorted through everything and binned some stuff. I then took the old organisers (which are deeper) upstairs and used them in one of my drawers upstairs and that made a fab difference too.

I used one of those hobby plastic boxes where they have about 20 small compartments to sort out my key drawer. We took the lid off and put it underneath the box (so I could use it properly in future if I wanted to.. So Kitchen now decluttered. Next task is the utility which is truly scary as we haven't touched a lot of it for a few years LOL I didn't bin that much really but put it this way - I struggled to shut the drawer before and now they have loads of room!

Off to church next tho and barbecue straight after

Tirl - we are going to Majorca - first Saturday in June - all inclusive! Can't wait!

We also went for a nice long walk last night so I felt very virtuous - hoping that helps with the weight loss and changing my shape even if it didn't show on the scales this morning! Only lost half a pound this week so far which is a little disappointing! I haven't religiously been counting everything I ate any more as I felt I was obsessing too much over it and was scared I could develop an eating disorder if I wasn't careful.

Well made it to church for a change. The youth were raising money for a camping trip so I got my car washed LOL:rotfl:. I got loads of compliments on my hair today which was encouraging :Dand had a really nice chat with the lady that helped me declutter my bedroom before xmas. I've lent her my hair magazine and she might go to my hairdresser so she can have a change of look! that is the highest compliment when people want to come to your hairdresser isn't it!!:T

We then went to my friend's house for a birthday barbie... it went okay altho the kids were a bit bored as there was only us and their grown up son... They had a wii tho so in the end the kids played on that... My friend was pleased with the flowers and wrap ups I gave her. I also gave her a couple of bottles of wine cos I know they like their wine...

I've decluttered 2 more big drawers in my bedroom :p- but still have 3 or 4 baskets to tackle! :eek:Too tired for that... But I'm wondering whether one of the reasons I am struggling to sleep is the state of our bedroom so considering moving the baskets into my study so at least our bedroom feels lighter and more restful... I've also cleared all the cobwebs out... ;) and dusted the top part of our leather "sleigh" bed...

DD has gone to MIL's tonight. I got OH to take her due to my arm... He wasn't very happy about it but at least he did it.;) Looking forward to the peace as DS and DD have been bickering and winding each other up this week. I think it will do them good to have a break from each other... Need to try and think of nice things to do with DS in the evenings.... as he is off school this week and last but he has completely different holidays to DD so I am off the week he goes back!! We will have the bank holidays off together as a family

I think my diet is a bit blown today as had cake at lunchtime... but for tea I am having strawberries and grapes, some mango and some naughty creme brulee from the M&S offer...

Oh and I also got told my skin was glowing today... so clinique, olay, Q10 and dove intensive care - are definitely working LOL but no wonder I am struggling to get the help I need... I can't win really as I need to look nice for my own self esteem and so as to stay positive - but it is counter-productive in some ways as its not obvious I need more support... Oh well

I am wondering about self-referring to Occ Health at work to see if there is anything they can offer. I am also thinking of asking the GP to refer me to a pain clinic - and to change my tablets again as the Zopiclone was better than this Tramazapan... I don't think it is valium... Valium would be nice... please....

I've also started to take calcium supplements this week as all my nails suddenly started breaking and chipping having been fab after the transfusion.... don't know why that is... other than calorie count says my diet is low in calcium and potassium....

Well I decided to move the baskets out of my bedroom. I then sorted the remaining carp that was on the floor - binned loads, put some stuff to charity and rescued other lost treasures! I have also given DS all of DD's birthday pressies to wrap for me - he offered and put all of the Easter chocolate together. All my surfaces in my bedroom are now dust free and clean and clear.

I now fit into my £40 wallis trousers - size 16 that have never fit me!! I have one in brown and one in black so I am made up. I also found a lovely thin turquoise skirt that I forgot I had in size 16 which fits - and another black skirt also size 16 and nice and thin that fits. Best of all a linen pink per una skirt - in size 14!!!! also fits! I am also in a J by Jasper Conran size 12 vest top tonight having worn my size 12 next top earlier. So I must have lost about an inch and half in the last week or two on top of my previous inches! So really pleased with that. I also fitted into some beautiful embroidered jeans that I haven't been able to wear for about 5 or 6 years but that I've always loved. Thankfully what I gave away before xmas were tops rather than basics like skirts and jeans and trousers....

I've already started to give some of my bigger stuff away as I am determined not to go back to being that size - altho I may keep a few things that I was "in love" wit. OH is also now finding his clothes are a more comfortable fit and is starting to fit back into stuff he had grown out of. My DD is already slim but am still trying to get DS to get with the program and get slim and healthy again... He plays on the computer too much like so many kids these days...

I'm hoping that by sorting my bedroom out - it might make the room more restful and peaceful and help me get to sleep. Really hope it works as I am desperate for sleep. The only thing that is positive about not sleeping is that I find it makes me less hungry for some reaosn - I don't know why...

Anyway - I am going to close my computer down now and hopefully get some shut eye. I have some candles and incense burning to try and make it all feel more relaxed and restful.
