I did a website - but because I was unknowingly so anaemic - I was just too exhausted to capitalise on it. Hoping that once things settle down for me medically I will start again with a free wordpress blog and try and get some coaching clients evenings and weekends...

but it looks like the grind of paying stuff off is getting to your OH a bit. You may need to practice your coaching skills on him.

I did try last night but he can't describe to me what he does want other than not computers (he's an IT manager)

Right - have proper broadband again - woohoo. 24mb speed!:T
    :T
We gave DD a computer last year but we've rarely managed to get the internet working for her so this should resolve it.
Would a wireless receiver not solve DD's problem? I understand DH & DS's hardwiring, but she doesn't need such high speed does she? (I think we have a spare wireless kit)
:jOn a positive note - DD's class had an assembly today - and she spoke and presented some of her work and did really well. was very proud of her. :j
    :T
OH did do a job today I'd wanted him to do for the last 4 years! :eek:It took him 5 minutes - but now my lovely Tiffany lamp on the bookshelf doesn't have an ugly extension lead hanging down any more... so that was result:T
    :D
Yes I think my OH is down and I have advised him repeatedly to go to the GP and sort himself out - but he never has - advised him to do it again today... Wonder if he ever will!

Next year want to aim to go to Florida!! We always said we would do that if we got debt free so that's our next target to save for that:eek::j

    Hi guys

Well definitely need an op - will happen on the date I wanted in the summer holidays (while DD is at MIL's so hopefully blissfully unaware) The consultant was very reassuring and explained things really well - and I felt reassured that I'd made the right decision with switching hospital. I also told my boss today and she was fine about it which was good.

OH and I then went to the carvery before I went and got DD from school. I walked to school and back and then have done loads of walking around shops tonight so hopefully I will have burnt off any naughty calories LOL:p

I took the kids to my sister's tonight so I now have my weekend of peace... OH has gone off to Scotland to visit a friend.

On the way back, I went to a really large M&S and added lots of things to my wishlist and bought a £15 pair of shoes. I was really pleased I am 12-14 top now in M&S:j altho the bottom half of me is still not fitting in to many 16s... I also went to Ikea where I spent some more.... :shhh: I had my tea there too! I then nipped to Mr As on my way home too and stocked up on some stuff for me for the weekend including 2 hair magazines! Planning to get a drastically different haircut! It's longish at the moment planning to go "mostly" short again! :)

Sounds like a very productive day SH!
Glad to hear you happy about changing hospitals and that the doctor was good. Hope your surgery goes well.
You're doing really well with your weight loss! Me,not so. :( Need to just keep the exercise going (which obviously didn't really happen this week due to back) and have a bit more think re: food. I still manage to fit into my normal clothes, some of them are bit tight though. :(

    Have a lovely weekend!!

Hi Tirl- I am sure with the amount of exercise you're doing it will soon sort itself out...

Well I've had a lovely day despite my hairdresser cancelling on me! She was ill so rearranged to next week now! I had a quick lunch at home (and made myself a picnic of mango, strawberries and grapes) then I went and bought myself a nice thin white cardi from Mr Ts for £14 before going to a nice national trust property. I just sat in the NT garden with my journal for about 3 hours!!!! and wrote and wrote and wrote everything down that was bothering me and weighing on my mind. Afterwards I felt much lighter and have a clearer picture of where I am trying to get to - goal wise...

What was nice was I came across some quotes I'd written down from Louise L Hay's book "the power is within you" which was very timely along with other quotes from an NLP book!

I went to Next on the way back and got 2 vesttops for £9 - in size 12!! Ok so they are a little tight and my bingo wings show slightly but I was thrilled!! I bought some treat food from M&S and then have just been having a very quiet relaxing evening. Having said that I'm already on the second lot of washing and have packed and unpacked that lovely dishwasher!! I have unpacked and put away my nice ikea stuff too. I also chucked some rubbish out of DS's room and brought down his crockery just before it went mouldy!!! Teenagers!!!!

Before I go to bed want to try and get my lounge looking nice again. When the BT engineer came I had to empty all the DVD's out of the cupboard for him to get to the phone junction point behind the cupboard. Guess what....? No-one's put them back for me!! So now I need to put them all back again...

These were some of the quotes I came across today

"if we can use our problems as opportunities to think about how we can change our lives we have power..."

"We all have power all of the time it depends how we use it..."

"the point of power is always in the present moment"

"Don't drown in a sea of negativity when you can float on the ocean of life"
