Sorry to hear your OH was pain last night. Sometimes they just don't seem to think and it's very annoying. Especially as it must be pretty obvious that you're in pain and have to deal with it all day long. GRRR on your behalf! Hope he gets his act together!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Thanks Tirl - he was oblivious to how upset I was last night. Told him today tho - and he did sort my dinner, take the kids to McDonalds and sort the clean washing into piles (not put away tho LOL) He's taken the next 2 days off so perhaps he will get his head straight again
DS and DD were both off ill today and I worked from home which with them at home was stressful - which I think is how I forgot you were calling tonight sorry...
One bit of good news is the pension money arrived today(£10.1K) - so in principle we can now pay off MIL and our credit card. But didn't get quite as much as I hoped so not enough for holiday (want £1.5-2K)but I think we need to go abroad anyway. We are just so miserable and stressed - need something to lift the mood. We've paid for a balance transfer until September (£5.8) so think will have holiday and then pay off the money when we have enough.... At least we can pay off MIL (£4K) straightaway and she is coming over for mother's day so we may get to do it then....
Just got OH to set up an ISA with the £5.1K max for this year so at least the money is a bit more out of sight...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi Saving. No worries about yesterday. I know your life is bit full atm.
I just felt really tired about half 9,pushing myself exercise wise doing something every day in addition to cycling to work. Only second week going but just feeling bit tired. But I've had enough of not being my normal size and not easily getting back there so measures have to be taken. And I am enjoying it.
You're doing really well with your weight loss! If my weight hasn't gone down this week, I'll have a look into the food side of things. Usually if I up the exercise (especially when having done not as much previously) it starts coming off naturally plus I have stopped eating chocolate and drinking coke which used to be the two baddies in my diet.
Glad you finally got your pension money and can pay MIL off. That'll be nice. When I had a lot of debt, I made sure I first paid off my grandad though I could've had that loan forever and he wouldn't've been too bothered (all my family tend to go to him for loans).

Yeah I think it is important to honour debts to family - and yes my MIL would write it off if necessary.... and has been very patient. She lent us the money when we were going thro a really bad patch.... when I'd lost my job and both cars were "poorly"
Today has been a really really weird day. I am so glad the pension money came yesterday or I think I would have been crying againI had my blood test (no results yet). DS still off sick but luckily OH was off anyway today. DD went back to school tho - still no results on the blood test. OH took me today (but I forgot to take tablets with me so he dropped them off for me at lunchtime).
He took my car to the garage as I was worried about brakes and tyres - they needed doing so that was £290! They then said they could see a crack in my back suspension so that was another £120!! and we still have that £400 fault we've not fixed. They have had to order the part and then suspension will be fixed tomorrow but still putting off EGR valve
OH did some clearing up and took some stuff to the tip which was positive. He also took DS to doctors - he has an ear infection and his ear will probably burst again!
When I finally made it home realised hadn't taken any of my meds first thing this morning so actually had done well lasting until lunchtime... So hopefully that means that my arm is doing a lot better.... but it was painful tonight - so the pain definitely is linked to how much I use it...:( 'Cos I did a workshop today and got in late it hurt less than normal.
I got my car insurance including legal expenses, courtesy car and protected no claims bonus for £318. I looked everywhere and it was a good deal so went with that in the end.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've just managed to go online and rescue an old advantage card balance of £6.36 - I've lost the card so they are sending me a new one so that should be good when that arrives - I can have a little treat or use towards gifts...
Just written a mother's day card for my mum - now just need to remember to post it
I've spent a lot of this evening filling in my calendar on my new computer with all the school holidays and then working out when we want to have our holidays. I have a gynae appointment very soon - I really hope that I find out then whether or not I do need an op - and if yes agree a date to work towards
Night night all hope we all have a good night's sleep. I've just eaten a piece of cheese in the hope it will help... I have a gp appointment first thing so hopefully that might also give me a way forwardAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well been to the gp today - mine and DD's blood tests are now fine, :Tso I can reduce my iron tablets from 3 to 2 which should be good. She said that at least 3 of my medications can cause sleep disturbance so she wasn't surprised at all I was having problems so she has given me sleeping tablets:eek::eek: She felt that the sooner I had surgery rather than the injection I've been given the better for my body which was interesting...
She doesn't think I need to worry about calorie count saying my potassium and calcium intake are low supplements wise as there is no history of osteoporosis or chrones disease...
I now need to finish doing my makeup and get off to work. Just not in the mood at all. Desperately looking forward to our easter break nowAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
