    Hi thanks Bevan

Made it in in the end -but ended up working until 7 to try and catch up due to medical appointments!

Home safely now. Watching Harry Potter bought with the Easter money from my mum

Hopefully going to have meatballs and potatoes from M&S soon... waiting for it to cook. Bit disappointed that no-one had cooked before I got home...

Delivered another workshop today. Was well received which made me feel more positive. In general more on top of my workload again which is good. A friend at work was feeling rough so we went to Costa - she paid... my turn next time tho....

Back to the GP tomorrow for a medication review and hopefully get an update re my arm which is still doing my head-in!

Hope you enjoyed Harry Potter, I have to admit that although I loved the books I've never watched any of the films.

Wow things are moving in the right direction for you SH.

Glad they are going to sort you with some surgery - never nice to go through, but if it sorts your problems will be worth it in the long term.

Your holiday sounds great - well done on the saving.

I'm holding on to thoughts of that holiday at the moment!

I went to the doctor's again tonight - waited an hour and a quarter to see her but she gave me half an hour bless her. I just sat there and blubbed :o The sleeping tablets haven't been working all the time which she thinks my insomnia is largely due to the injection I'm having... so she has now given me Temazapam which I'm looking forward to :p (Valium) I really need it at the mo!:o

Her attitude was we needed to just nurse me thro to the op date and that the injection I'm on and the reason I'm having it - are going to continue to cause me grief until I had it. I wish that had been explained to me better before I booked my op - I might have asked for an earlier date!

She has also referred me to ortho regarding my arm - she reckons it could be up to a year:eek::eek::eek: before it sorts out - and that it might not just get better - which made me cry harder :( She says they will do a nerve induction test on it (need to google) to try and see where the problem is and what of anything to do about it. She reckons I could be waiting until July to get an appointment tho

I also got her to give me a fit note to try and explain to work they need to cut me some slack - as all my conditions are invisible :(- so not really getting the support I need from anywhere. My response to stress is to pay more attention to my appearance, get slim and apply more makeup so ironicly I look better than I have for years ! Another positive I am trying to keep hold of.

I went to lunch with a friend today from work - that is a real positive in my life too as are my children. :T My DS did the cleaning today which has made the whole house feel better and OH cooked tea for when I got in tonight...

I think that's why I've never watched it, I often find films disappointing after the book.

I suppose that's good, that you look well, but if its not obvious that you need support, they may need a bit of a kick.

    Hi CMD

Haircut is nice - now have a short bob - everyone seems to like it. Gone more dramatic on the colour mocha, red and ginger!! I played jewel on my phone and wrote in my journal while waiting for my hair colour to set...

I also nipped to M&S and bought six of their dine in for £10 - that way I got a reduction on the wine too. Can freeze some of it. Eat some of it tonight and over the weekend. We have been invited to a friend's for a barbecue tomorrow - so will take a couple of bottles of wine over then together with some flowers and a donation to red cross. She wanted to raise money for a good cause for her 50th as part of celebrating surviving cancer for 10 years now! Really I need to try and make her a card tonight - to make up for it being belated! Will try and motivate myself later.

Need to take a pressie I bought for someone at church who had a baby about 4 weeks ago together with their card too! In case you can't tell - I feel very "behind" at the moment!

OH has been helpful today and kept the kitchen nice and mowed the lawn. He let DD have a friend round to play while I was out too. DS walked into town to watch a film.
