I'm really pleased for you - being made permanent WOOHOO and below 10 grand too.
I'm really behind on the Christmas shopping front this year - I've been saving so have it all accounted for - just have NO idea what to get this year - will have to have a good trip around the shops fairly soon me thinks!!
Christmas will be totally different this year - it'll be the first year I won't be at home for Christmas dinner - going to see my dd. I'm looking forward to it but it will be strange.

Thanks Tirl,CMD, Bevan and Milann!
Yeah generally things are looking up. Generally way too busy which is why struggling to get on here. MIL was here today - so major tidy and clean up plus cooking sessions as it was her birthday. Also decluttered DD's room after MIL had gone so on top of 6 bags taken to the tip this morning, have now filled another 3 bags of rubbish plus a couple to give away...

Still not sure what we'll end up doing about cars... "I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
They are saying could be a really bad winter again in which case wonder if should bite the bullet and buy a second car again but can't really afford that either. Motorbiking on ice and snow for OH is no fun.
Very cold and icy here today but only get a smattering of snow yesterdayAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

We've got no snow either, there was a sprinking overnight. Can't be fun on a bike in this weather.
I was thinking of you before, looking for a 'baby girl' card for a neighbour's daughter, and found one made with your stuff.
