hi CMD cake is yum!
No work hasn't calmed down - I thought I was starting to get it under control again but then yesterday someone doubled my already high workload! Luckily it is likely to be on a phased basis so there is a chance I could shift some of my current work before that lot kicks in but stressful! I am also recruiting for a temp to help me so things may improve soon but right now I am just trying to manage my own reactions and stress never mind the work itself!
It pays the bills and is rewarding in its own way so just have to hope I get thro this next chunk ok!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

hi BZ and Tirl
I agree doing nothing can sometimes be really important!
Today's interview were okay - one more person to see Monday.
Had lunch with a work colleague today - I treated her and we had a really good chat - so that made today much more positive.
Worked until 6pm but then left all my work including laptop at work so couldn't be tempted to interrupt the weekend with work!!
Watched The Event - what do you all think of it? Not sure really seem to have enforced delays and too much flashbacking for me. I preferred Flash Forward by far there was a more obvious point to it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'm finding the same with The Event. Flash backs seem to be the thing to do after Lost but I don't think they're really adding anything to the story. It seems to slow the pace down without me feeling like I've learnt anything I particularly wanted to know. It is ok and I'll keep watching as there doesn't seem to be much on I really like at the moment!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

I agree nowt on TV at the moment
Have you ever noticed that household appliances all seem to break at the same time?
Just replaced our dyson with a £50 vax and now need to replace our microwave but we had had it about 13 years or more I reckon so can't complain too much. Getting a 31 litre capacity daewoo - it's a penny short of £60 so a lot better priced than some of the others out there...
Just hope it is a good one...?! and that it doesn't take too long. Strangely tho we feel the fact our current one keeps tripping the house main circuit breaker is a sign there is something majorly wrong!
Feel very tired today as OH only told me I was doing sunday school just as I was about to go to bed - got to bed very late - and then had a group of rowdy youngsters to contend with first thing - not my idea of fun.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Couldn't comment on the microwave, mine lives on top of the fridge and is basically an ornament. Cost silly money from mr a about 5 years ago.
hope you've recovered from Sunday School. A bit more notice might have been good though.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
