That's a fair amount of driving between family members. Hope the TV works out OK.

I think I can't do Christmas early because we have family birthdays in late November and early December, so like to get those out of the way. And I never had the money.

    Enjoy your day.

    hi Gill

We are lucky in that we have two incomes and our debts are more under control now.

Just wrapped 5 hampers for birthdays/xmas in some lovely white star patterned clear cellophane. The good thing about that it is stops me keep adding to them and I am hoping it will keep any choccies fresh. I have now taken photos but need to find the special cable thing before I can upload... Will need to remember not to put BZ's on either Lol although just to tantalize her I have to say it looks pretty good! I am doing joint hampers this year for my sisters that got married last year so costs stay under control but hopefully both parties will like them anyway.

I am going to meet one of my sister's partners for the first time next weekend - they were living abroad and got married abroad so we weren't able to go to the wedding. They are now back in this country but it is has just been a hectic year and they are quite a drive away from where we are... hence why we've not seen them yet.... may take their hamper with me then as I think they are away at xmas... Need to check...

DD got invited out today all afternoon which was good but I went to bed for a couple of hours I was that shattered...

Looking forward to seeing the hamper piccies. I've got so much I need to do for Christmas, wedding, worknetc over the half term but at the moment I really can't be bothered with any of it! I guess I ought to try and achieve something today!

hi guys well I worked from home today which was less stress which meant I could get on with my own work rather than getting sucked into "helping" others out while causing my pile to grow higher! Got a lot done today without my brain fogging over which is good... May convert at least one day of my leave to a flexi day altho probably have enough for two! and that is just from the last 3 weeks! I have in other jobs workd those sort of hours without getting anything back so I suppose I should at least be grateful that home working and flexi time is available almost with no questions asked...

At least I feel valued and appreciated where I am despite the low wage (by my standards) and that counts for a lot...

Just 2 working days left then off for 9 days almost as good as xmas LOL! Altho Saturday we are zipping off down south about 3 hours at least each way I reckon which will probably be tiring!

It's really good that you have a very flexible flexi scheme, as you say, if in the past those sort of hours have been expected and for no return, you should use the facility if its there.

    Enjoy your break.

hi gill - yes flexi time is good... as long as you don't get sucked into working too many hours!

Well met my brother in law for the first time today - I didn't get to go to one of my sister's weddings as it was abroad. Visit went well - dropped off some chairs and kilner jars while we were there....

OH made me drive both ways so shattered and my knee feels a bit funny (total 300 miles+)

Got this week off want to relax, go to the gym and sort the house out....
