hi guys thanks for the messages

Life seems hectic at the moment between working, going to the gym and then sometimes working some more and juggling family life - not keeping up at all. Everything in principle is fine... hopefully I can update more later in the week!

Just keep at it. As you say, in principle everything's fine, it just takes time to get used to it all. :)

i quite like the 'everything is fine in principle'

its a bit like my 'in theory there is money in the bank, but where is it?' the wonders of the universe will sort it eventually if you keep at it for long enough.

    Hi tirl, jellie and gill!

Thanks for the messages.... Tonight I worked 9-9 with an hour and half lunch! Life has gone manic at work and I am not keeping up so need to have a chat with my boss. It has gone from one extreme to the others...

Did get OH to help me clear our 3 foot literally clean laundry mountain from the floor of the utility. We did that last night and sorted it into bags and piles but has anyone other than me and DS put their stuff away after that???? No!

Oh well - tomorrow's another day let's hope it is a better one! Cleaner is coming which is good but means the clothes have to be gone tonight etc and need to get OH to finish sorting kitchen, switch dishwasher on etc...

I hear ya! I seem to spend my life cleaning my flat and get it clean, only for it to be messy a few hours later :(

Sorry to hear work is so manic. I know that feeling too (although not recently) and isn't a nice one.

Is the work thing something that is just a deadline issue, where not enough time has been allowed, or is it a more long term thing.
Hope you sort it out, that's far too long to be spending in work, especially when the plan was to work nearer home to spend more time with family.

    Hi savingh.
Gosh, that is way too long at work. I would like to have a bit more interesting job but at least I'm never really snowed under.

Bf and I have a problem with washing up dishes. Sometimes we eat so late and then want to watch something on telly, or we're going out just after and have no time to do them. So more often than not there's a pile of dishes in the sink. Fortunately, it hasn't started annoying me yet. It's funny how different it is when it's your own mess. :)
